To begin with brothers and sisters, Christian Friends,Well Wishers and Saints of God the Lord said Do you really want to get out of this mess? Do you really want to break free of this bondage? Can you really see yourself liberated, set free, and highly favored well Just Hold your peace. Just Hush your mouth. SHH SHH SHH be quiet and very still in fact God said Stand Still and see the Salvation of Jehovah Adonai.

Some things are just beyond us and you and I need the Lord to sort things out. In Exodus 14: The Lord spoke to Moses and said make to children of Israel go backward to Pihahiroth and make a camp between Migdol and the Red Sea. This seems like a dumb strategy. It sure don’t seems smart. Wait nah Lord you’re going to make us go backward because if we go North we can reach the Promise land in a few days.
Some things are just beyond us and you and I need the Lord to sort things out. In Exodus 14: The Lord spoke to Moses and said make to children of Israel go backward to Pihahiroth and make a camp between Migdol and the Red Sea. This seems like a dumb strategy. It sure don’t seems smart. Wait nah Lord you’re going to make us go backward because if we go North we can reach the Promise land in a few days.
Then to top it all off God said Moses make the children of Israel camp opposite of Baal Zephon. Yeah Camp by one of Pharaoh’s holy sites of Idol worship. They had shrines there to Baal zephon and then across the way was the Mighty Red Sea. And the Famous Red Sea is anywhere from 2,500 feet deep to well over 9,000 feet deep.So you got this mountainous wall on one side and the Red Sea dead in front. It’s like you drove on a street that was a dead end that only had the little circle and the end for you to turn around. But here’s the Problem…To anybody with a little bitty sense they know that they are now trapped with no where to go. God harden Pharaoh’s heart on purpose so that Pharaoh will follow after the Israelites. Sometimes God mess all over your life just so He can show up mightily on your behalf. And messengers went and told the King of Egypt that the Children of Israel has fled to a trapped enclosure. They are bottle necked in a perfect spot to be slaughtered. Verse 7 says that Pharaoh sent all the chariots of Egypt behind little old Israel. Oh how quickly Pharaoh forgot what the Almighty God had just done in the Land of Egypt. God had just struck Egypt with ten plaques and had spared the children of Israel in the land of Goshen. Brothers and sisters Arrogance and Supercilious Pride had it to where Pharaoh dismissed the awful tragedies that he and his people had just endured. Pharaoh acts like he forgot what God did him for not wanting to Let God’s people go.

And the bible says 10 When the Israelites saw the king and his army coming after them, they were very frightened and cried to the LORD for help. That was the right thing to do. When you’re in trouble call on the Lord. We’ve got to pray trust and never doubt that the Lord will bring us out.

But!!! Now the whole congregation is shifting the blame on to Moses. And Moses is just following orders. They said Moses what have you done to us? Why did you bring us out here in in the desert to die? Moses you could have left us in Egypt at least there we would have had a decent burial plot and grave and headstone. Moses we told you back in Egypt to leave us alone man. Moses we would have rather stayed slaves in Egypt than come out here in the desert and die like this.

I heard the Lord pretty clear don’t you be one of those people who are cutting up and carrying on in my church because I the Lord will only rescue the innocent. So church “Just Hush your mouth”. Hold your peace be still and very quiet and I’ll handle it.

Don’t put your two cents in it, keep your sense to yourself. Because your sense ain’t worth nothing to me saith the Lord. Listen to me there was a story about Chance the Garner in the movie Being There. Chance the Garner was a functioning illiterate and the elevator didn’t go up too far. But he knew gardening with a limited vocabulary so his words were few. Anyway high ranking officials and wealthy men used his words as lofty wisdom when in fact he was just talking about gardening. They used his gardening analogies as something profound prolific and poetically perfect for politics. But Gardening was all he really knew. And the moral of the story is Sometimes making a lot of noise is not the answer because The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

Everybody in here have a right to make their own decisions. Everybody in here have Free will. And what I learned at the seminary was that an individual can make their own decisions and nobody can tell them otherwise but just God will respect their choices.

Verse 19 says that the Angel of the Lord that was leading the from the front went to the back of the children of Israel and the bible says that the pillar of cloud moved with the angel of the Lord. And so the pillar of cloud stood up like a mighty tornado and held back the Egyptians away from the children of Israel. It was dark for the Egyptian Great God but it was light for the Children of Israel. Oh Lordy And The bible says all night long the tornado kept the two armies apart.
