Man was formed out of the dust of the Ground:
God is all powerful,
He has created things into existence out of nothing
Why didn’t God create man out of nothing?
Why didn’t God command man into being?
Why didn’t God create man our of the air or something else?
Why the Ground?
.
ʾădâmâh, (אֲדָמָה)אֲדָמָה)ad-aw-maw´; soil (from its gen. redness):—country, earth, ground, husband [-man] (-ry), land.
The Concept of the ground:
Carry the idea of a base, a mold, a structure, out of root, reference,
In this case man was formed out of Dust.
What you are made of
Dust must be consigned to dust.
So Ecclesiastes 12:7:—
“Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was.”
And 3:20:—
“All are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.”
M. Tullius Cicero
