TO JESUS BEING FROM THE FATHER—
IS IT BELIEF?

THAT YOU MAY BE FREE FROM SIN.

God is better seen through my
limitations.
Don’t be spiritually blind to your sin
and need of a Savior.

COMPASSION AND GLORY
1. As Messiah, Jesus reveals the purpose of His
working is God’s glory (who He is). 1-7
2. As Messiah, Jesus is working even in the midst
of their not understanding. 8-16

3. As Messiah, Jesus claims power over spiritual
death. 17-27
4. As Messiah, Jesus reveals His compassion for
hurting people. 28-36

5. As Messiah, Jesus reveals the glory of God
through His power over physical death. 37-44
6. As Messiah, Jesus is rejected due to man
seeking their own self-interest. 45-58
JESUS’ POWER OVER DEATH
REVEALS HIS MESSIAHSHIP.
GOD GENUINELY CARES ABOUT
OUR HURTING HEARTS!
APPLICATION
1. The power of God over physical and spiritual
death should lead us to belief in Jesus Christ.
2. Our goal should be for the glory (realities) of
God to be seen in our trials.
APPLICATION
3. We must not forget that in the midst of sorrow,
God cares for our hurting heart even as He is
accomplishing His greater purposes.
4. We must in the midst of our sorrow respond in
obedience to God.
