Prayer

Okay! So, what did we learn last time?
Yes! So what happens next? God created everything. In the Garden of Eden where the trees had delicious fruit. Adam has a job and that is to NOT eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, because if he does, he will die. And he was to name each animal…so naming the giraffe “giraffe” and the platypus “platypus”. But....when God created things, first did you know he only created man? All the animals had companions…but man was alone, and God decided he would make a helper perfect for him! So God put Adam to sleep. While Adam was sleeping, God preformed surgery on him! He took one of his ribs and created woman. So when Adam woke up, boom, there was a lady! Eve!
Now, Adam and Eve had only one job besides naming everything and that was to have kids and populate the earth. There was no sin…no trouble....just peace.
Until....the devil came.
Now, i set the scene, we are going to do a mystery! Each of you have a different fruit, tell me what fruit it is you have.
And what is going to happen is you all have a number under your chair. DO NOT peek at it! whichever number I draw from my hat is the one with the fruit of knowledge of good and evil No one will know who has it but me! And do NOT show anyone your number! If you have the bad fruit....you’re it. And I will not tell you what your it to until the end. YOU HAVE ONE RULE....obey what I tell you to do, do not be tempted to eat this fruit or lick it, and DO NOT look at your number.

So, I'm going to read the conversation between the serpent and Eve.
Genesis 3:1–5 “The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?” “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’ ” “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.””
Now…One of you has the bad fruit, everyone is a victim, so, I want y'all to try to figure out who has it! So....take a guess! Who do you think has the bad fruit? And why?
What do you think Eve is about to do?
Genesis 3:6–7 “The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.”
NOW! that is how evil entered into man! The devil deceived Eve and she gave some fruit to her husband. Now....they're in trouble!
QUICK! The Lord is coming!! He is going to find out you disobeyed him! Everyone hide!!! GRAB the fruit!! GO!
Genesis 3:8–13 “When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the Lord God among the trees. Then the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” He replied, “I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.” “Who told you that you were naked?” the Lord God asked. “Have you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?” The man replied, “It was the woman you gave me who gave me the fruit, and I ate it.” Then the Lord God asked the woman, “What have you done?” “The serpent deceived me,” she replied. “That’s why I ate it.””
Now, I’m going to call one of you out one by one.
Questions - What is your fruit? Have you ever tried it before? Have you ever been told you need to eat it? What do you think it tastes like? If it was a life or death situation, and you were told by God not to eat it, but the evil one tempted you to eat it....would you? - okay, go sit at the table.

So, recap before finding out who has the evil fruit. God made Eve from Adams rib, the evil one tempted Eve, Eve listened and gave the fruit to her husband, they’re eyes were opened, evil entered into humanity, God cursed the serpent, woman, and man, and had to banish them from the garden.
Did everyone obey the rules? Why do we need to obey Gods rules? (Because he knows whats best for us and so we do not stumble and fall).
SO NOW...one of you has the bad fruit.
….the number who has the bad fruit is...
Now, look under your chair, who has number...
YOU HAVE THE EVIL FRUIT which means YOU are it!
(turn off lights) hide and seek in dark time.
