John 14:6

John 14:6 NIV84
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Life in Christ has been around since the World began

Jesus is the way to true LIFE

John 1:1-5

John 1:1–5 NIV84
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.

God doesn’t wait for us to find life in HIM, HE Loved us before we even knew HIM

Romans 5:10

Romans 5:10 NIV84
For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

The link between our old life and life in Christ is the cross and several of the New Testament passages combine the cross with life to show this

1 Peter 2:24

1 Peter 2:24 NIV84
He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

The cross becomes a living tree

In this we find NEW LIFE

Galatians 2:20

Galatians 2:20 NIV84
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

That LIFE is the ticket back to paradise lost

Revelation 2:7

Revelation 2:7 NIV84
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

Revelation 22:2

Revelation 22:2 NIV84
down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

Revelation 22:14

Revelation 22:14 NIV84
“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:14 NIV84
“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.

With these promises, our lives nee to change direction

2 Peter 1:3

2 Peter 1:3 NIV84
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

We have all the tools

We use these to keep our old self in check

1 Peter 3:10

1 Peter 3:10 NIV84
For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech.

As physical exercise improves our physical body, regularly practicing spiritual exercise develops a stronger faith for today

1 Timothy 4:8

1 Timothy 4:8 NIV84
For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

That brings us back to the way to a true life yesterday, today and tomorrow

John 3:15-16

John 3:15–16 NIV84
that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
