What do you think of when you hear the word glory? Whatever it is you think of, it's probably safe to say that you don't naturally think of a moment of rejection, isolation, and death. And yet that moment, the moment of Jesus being lifted up on the cross, is the moment Jesus said was his moment of greatest glory. Because God is Glorified in the Cross. And what we see in John 12 is the glory of Jesus' cross, the glory of our cross, and the glorious effect of the cross.
