1 Pe 5:1-11

1 Peter 5:1 NA28
I exhort the elders among you, the fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partner of the glory that is going to be revealed.
1 Peter 5:2 NA28
Shepherd the flock of God among you, overseeing not by compulsion but willingly in accordance with God, and not for greedy gain but eagerly.
1 Peter 5:3 NA28
And not as domineering your share but being an example of the flock.
1 Peter 5:4 NA28
And at the revealing of the chief shepherd you will receive the unfading crown of glory.
1 Peter 5:5 NA28
Likewise, younger ones, be subject to the elders. And all of you, put on humility, because God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
1 Peter 5:6 NA28
Therefore be humbled under the powerful hand of God, so that he should exalt you in season.
1 Peter 5:7 NA28
Cast upon him all your anxieties. For it is a care to him for you.
1 Peter 5:8 NA28
Be sober, be alert. Your adversary the devil , as a lion roaring, walks around seeking someone to devour.
1 Peter 5:9 NA28
Resist him, firm in faith, knowing the same sufferings are being accomplished by your fellow believers in the world.
1 Peter 5:10 NA28
But God of all grace, the one having called you to his eternal glory in Christ, when you have suffered for a little while, will restore you himself, will confirm you, will strengthen you, and will establish you.
1 Peter 5:11 NA28
To him, the power forever, Amen.
