I alway thought of priesthood is the way of going down to the lowest as Jesus Christ the High Priest who came down from on high heaven to the lowest of the earth. Lowering himself to be born as a slave, lowering himself serve others , lowering down to wash the feet of his disciple, lowering himself to take up the cross, and lowering himself to die as criminal to save us who are sinners. this lowering attitude is rooted in the his love for us.
