Message: Read Psalm 23. My Shepherd is the Lord
In the very beginning God created the heavens and the earth and everything was good, it was all very good.
But something happened that changed all of that goodness. Sin, disobedience to God, came into existence and fractured all of creation.
From that time came the sinful nature, fights, wars, sickness, disease, and death. And we are still experiencing the results of the curse of sin in our very day, in this very moment.
In the very beginning, God told His first family that the curse has come and that nothing will be the same now… But there is good news… There is coming a day, when a child will come… when someone will be born and He will crush Satan and the works or Satan under His feet.
The Lord was coming. The Lord who made all things was going to come into the world. The Lord that creates every cell of your being, and holds you all together in this very moment, is going to come… And bring Life… And put an end to death.
The Lord was born through a virgin. Lived a sinless life and suffered all throughout His life here, until He was eventually crucified.
Why was the Lord crucified? Ultimately… for you and me. For sinners in need of a Savior. For His sheep. For His lambs. For my children, brothers and sisters. For your children, brothers, and sisters.
For whosoever will come to Him…
That is who our Lord is. The Lord is God the Son. The Lord is God Almighty. The Lord is in control of everything. He holds the world in His hands, and sustains the universe with a Word…
And He will hold you today… He will sustain you today… And forever. He will save you today… And keep you forever. He will hold your, lead you, guide you, and deliver you.
This Great Lord and God is our Shepherd. And He is our present Help in our day of trouble. He is our refuge and strength.
And I believe that Arnoldo is with the Lord today. I believe that he is not alone. I believe that he is safe and secure, and is fully alive today.
In the presence of the Lord, I believe Arnoldo is able to operate at a capacity unlike anything he has ever experienced here on this earth.
You have never seen him as he is today.
No more disease, no more sickness, no more mental, physical or emotional limitation. In the Lord’s presence, what was true on this earth.... is no longer true.
Arnoldo is a new man. Arnoldo has fullness of life and joy.
And we give thanks to the Lord today for the blessed hope and joy that we have in the mercies and grace of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We give thanks to God for the blessing of life, and for the opportunity to know Arnoldo as we did.
God does not make mistakes. We may not be able to see what God is doing. But the Lord knows exactly what He is doing. And He will finish what He starts… And it will be good.
Arnoldo was not a mistake and you are not a mistake. In a perfect world, we would all be perfect.
But we do not live in a perfect world.
The perfect is coming for us. But today, for Arnoldo, he knows something about it now.
I believe that all children, or people with child-like-minds, are covered by the grace of All Mighty God.
He can not come back to us… But we can go to him.
“How can we? We do not know the way…”
Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man can come to the Father, but by the Son. And when we come to Jesus and surrender our lives to Him… He becomes our Lord and our Shepherd… And He will lead us all the way Home…
Give Jesus your life, and He will keep it eternally safe and secure.
And when Jesus comes back for us, we will all rise together, to be with the Lord, and to be with our family again.
