Introduction

I. The Assessed Value of the Soul

A. Your Soul Was Created By God in His Image
i) Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”
ii) Genesis 2:7 “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”
B. Your Soul is Eternal
i) There was a time when you and I were not, but there will never again be a time when we will not be.

II. The Amplified Value of the Soul

A. Tragic Transaction
i) You Cannot gain the whole World
ii) You Cannot Keep the whole World
iii) You Cannot be satisfied with the whole World
B. Terrifying Transaction
C. Tormenting Transaction

III. The Actual Value of the Soul

Example of Car dealer friend setting value of a car at whatever someone else will pay.
A. The true Value of an object is what someone is willing to pay
i) You want the know the true value of your soul look no further than Calvary see Jesus nailed on the Cross, the crown of thorns pressed into his brow, His blood pouring out.
ii) Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
iii) 1 Peter 3:18 “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:”
IV. Conclusion
Have you seen the price that God has paid for your soul?
