John 14:12-14

John 14:12–14 NIV84
I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Not greater miracles but a greater(as in wider, far reaching) ministry

Because we are working together with Christ(the Holy Spirit).

As we reach out to others, then they reach out to more.

This was the way for centuries but now we are in a time period that sees the trend going the other way.

Can we turn it back in the right direction?

John 14:12

John 14:12 AMP
I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.

First step is a faith that is steadfast.

This means a faith that is like the winning team in a “tug of War.”

John 14:13

John 14:13 NIV84
And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

Second step: Ask in Jesus Name

John 16:23

John 16:23 AMP
And when that time comes, you will ask nothing of Me [you will need to ask Me no questions]. I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that My Father will grant you whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM].

That will change the way we ask.

John 14:14

John 14:14 AMP
[Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM].

A Whosoever can do the whatever when Jesus is at the center of the Ask.

When we follow this formula we will do greater things because:

John 15:8

John 15:8 AMP
When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.
