Mark 2:1–12 NKJV
1 And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. 2 Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. 3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. 4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. 5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” 6 And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, 7 “Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 8 But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you reason about these things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’? 10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the paralytic, 11 “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 12 Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

1. When Jesus is in the house there is power.

Mark 2:1–3 NKJV
1 And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. 2 Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. 3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men.
Notice verses 1,2.
Mark 2:1–2 NKJV
1 And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. 2 Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them.
this is why i have been preaching on a lot of the basics in the body building series. For example:
Week one: Personal responsibility
Week two: Who is really on your team? (the power of what you allow to be present)
Week three: Mirror work checking your own motives.
Week four: we need to work
Week five: we are on a mission
Week week six: using your spiritual gifts.
Week seven Tithes and offerings (giving to the work of the Lord).
Week eight: the power of unity.
I have been preaching this so that we as a church can get it together. The People of Capernaum knew that where Jesus is healing abides.
this is why we taught on unity Sunday Morning, Where there is unity among us the oil flows.
I’m thinking about the three o'clock Prayer service. I want to see the people touched by the Lord. If we want to see people touched by the Lord we need to submit to the Lord and one another. People will not submit to each other if they are not truly submitted to the Lord.
The Next thing we see is that Jesus preached the word to them, there are a lot of people who want the works without the word but that's not how it moves. He preached to them, then, the power fell.

2) Some obstacles are divine.

Mark 2:2–4 NKJV
2 Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. 3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. 4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.
these men carried their affected brother to the house where Jesus is.
these men came late. ( I say this because when I read this I see that four men carried one man to the house where Jesus was.)
the crowd is the obstacles to their goals, but most of the people who where there where there to get their needs met as well.
these men knew the need of their friend where great and the where willing to rise above the obstetrical to achieve the goal.
we want to pray a little prayer and sing a little song and expect God to do the thing right then.

3. what are you prepared to do?

what are you prepared to lift spiritually.
who is on you team?
do you the right team members?
are you a good team member?
as christian believers, we will need to go back to some of the old ways.
we are going to have to learn to tarry in prayer.
we are going to need to seek God.
we are going need to learn to call on the Lord.
this is going to take time.
