Jesus is the embodiment and the fulfillment of the Day of Atonement because:
1. He is our Lamb: Through his sacrificial death, Jesus removed the barrier between God and humanity by atoning for our sins.
2. He is our Scapegoat: Through his sacrificial death, Jesus transferred our sins to himself.
3. He is our the High Priest: Through his sacrificial death, Jesus extends an invitation to us to stop reliving the Day of Atonement.
4. He is the Final Judge: Because of his sacrificial death, the return of Jesus will either be a day of mourning or a day of rejoicing.
