The Be-Atitudes | Matthew 5:1-12 | Pastor Jose Brevil

The Beatitudes we are here and now in Matthew Chapter 5 in a section that is Coming lyrics to As The Sermon on the Mount where Jesus delivered this discourse that we refer to it or a speech or sermon on message that Jesus gave and primarily to his disciples there in the first section of the sermon on the mouth is called the Beatitudes and this morning we're going to look at those eight Beatitudes and I just see there that are emphasized the bee and then show the difference. So it's the attitude that are to be in US So the added the Beatitudes are about us about our life as a Christian when people look at our life can they look at our attitudes and say that? Oh, yeah Christ is living in them. So the Beatitudes are all about the qualities the characters that needs to be displayed in our lives. It is nuts about a Salvation with the Beatitudes are being displayed in our life because that's who we are in Christ. And as a result, we are showing that because we are already safe Martin Luther put it this way. He said Christ is saying nothing in the sermon about how would become Christians but only about the works and fruits that no one can do unless he already Is a Christian and in a state of grace the things were going to talk about this morning. They ought to be in you if you are a Believer if you are working with price of giving your life to Christ those attitudes are to be in you that doesn't mean that you are perfect. We all our work on the progress, right? We are all under construction. But the more that we are in tune with Christ. We are walking with Christ. The more those attitudes will just come out when people look at our lives they will see you smell more like Jesus you act more like Jesus I can see Jesus in you so in the Beatitudes here off of Matthew 5 to 12, so we're going to walk through those versus but before we get to it, let's just go in and just read the text and then we will go in and dissect them all verse by verse seeing the multitude stuff. He went up on the mountain and when he sit down referring to Jesus his disciples came to him.

and he opened his mouth and taught them saying

I'm blessed if we go back to verse 3 blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. This is blessed. Are those who mourn for they shall be comforted? Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be satisfied blessed are the merciful for they shall receive Mercy blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God bless all the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God bless all those who are safe with me persecuted. Say it like you love it blessed are those who are persecuted is the reason for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and other all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account? Verse twelve rejoice and be glad for your reward is great in heaven for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you do The Sermon on the Mount so looking at the Beatitudes, so if I were to summarize this entire section for you, it will be a message in two words live Counter Culture live Counter Culture live, like everybody else in the culture in is living live Counter Culture. So be different and I will look at the first Beatitudes, but even before that if we looked at horse when it says when Jesus he went up the mountain and he he said down in those days whenever I buy sits down to teach that means it was going to be serious. It was going to be some serious message that he was going to share at the moment, you know, sometimes the rabbi will teach casually when they just walking along with a disciple, but in this case Jesus one and set down to teach them because Jesus said something very important to teach them and we have the same idea. That's when you hear like it on college campus when they would say that a professor is the chair of the department. That means that person can speak with authority because they know what they are talking about. They've been tested so it's the same thing here. Jesus is sitting down is sharing a message. It's very important. Just like when they say the pope sits in the chair of Peter, it's the same idea. Here is Jesus sit down to teach his disciples and he opened his mouth and he started teaching them those Kingdom perspective and he says the Beatitudes has that needs to be in us. The first one are the poor in spirit inverse 32, the blessed are the poor in spirit, see how counterculture whenever we hear the word poverty. What do you associate that with bad stuff? Right, but you Jesus is saying blessed are the poor in spirit here is not talking about material poor, but he's talking about spiritual poor. But but here we seeing that Jesus is saying hey if you are poor in spirit, you are blessed and it says for dares is Kingdom of Heaven. Is it okay? If you are poor in spirit the Kingdom of Heaven is yours in the New Living Translation. It goes like that. God bless those who are poor and realize their need for him and that the problem we have in our culture today. Everybody thinks they got to the guy that everybody think they can do lie 45 God you do everything else is important, but I got this i got this i got this but here is saying that the people who are truly blessed are the people realize that they can't do anything apart from Christ. The people realize that God I can't Without you oh God. I need you. So those who are poor in spirit of the people who really know their name for God. They know that they have a dependent relationship. They are never independent of God. They know they don't whatever that they have. It's a gift from God just like Jim stole every good and perfect gift comes from above it comes from God. So God does the people realize their need for me with our poor of spirit? God says the Kingdom of Heaven is yours. See, that's why John 3:16 say for God so loved the world. Whoever believes in him will not perish but have Eternal life in the life of surrender of giving your life to him and God says a people will realize that they need me. God says the Kingdom of Heaven is yours. Psalm 34 Verse 18 says the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed spirits you think God is attracted to those who are in need.

Open our culture when we see somebody's very needy.

How do we do? We tried to stay away from them.

I want to keep my own sanity. I got to do some self-care.

I'm not sore God. God says ate the people who are broken hearted as I want to be close. God says I'm here to save the crushed in spirit.

Look at another verse in John 15 verse 5. Jesus says I am the vine you are the branches what can a branch do without a tree? So what can branches do with our divine they die. Whoever abide in me and I in him here he is that bears much fruit for a part from me. Can you do some things? 300 actors apart from me you can do nothing. So that means that when you face difficult situations in life, you need to run to God when you think that you tried to live though. I'm strong spiritually do I overcome to send that's when you're going to fall. Bible says take heed lest you fall. You don't ever think that I do. I'm so strong. Spiritually. I cannot fall in this area and now I no no no, no, no. No. Hey stay connected to the branch for apart from me. You can do nothing. That means you going to work at got it. I'm going to work this morning. Give me the strength to do the things that I need to do. Help me to represent you. Well, I'm starting a business. Don't rely on my own confidence. But God give me what I need Lord. God to excel in what I do, you know, I'm in school. Don't rely so much on my smartness. Yeah. I'm going to do my part. But also I'm going to rely on God for help. And hear Jesus says apart from me you can do nothing is the question for you. Do you realize you need for God? Do you realize you need for God and that's what Jesus is calling us to this morning for us to realize our need for him in Colossians 1:16. It says for by him all things were created in heaven and on Earth visible and invisible where the Thrones of the minion the rulers or thirties all things were created through him and for him

We were created for God. So therefore we need to live as such. Blaise Pascal puts it this way of French philosopher. He says there is a god-shaped vacuum in the heart of each men, which can then be satisfied by Amy created thing. But only by God the Creator made no flu Jesus Christ, all of us have a void in our life and that's why we have to share the gospel with as many people as we can because a lot of people are just zombies walking. I just got bodies working and they have so much in the mind so much going on. They hate this emptiness this hopelessness in their lives. That's why you see suicide depression all those things on the rise because people are empty people are hopeless and they try to fill it with work by overworking the try to fill it with money trying to get as much money as I can but until to realize what am I going to do with all that money to try to fill it with a relationship try to fill it with pleasure, but it just never satisfies.

And only God can satisfy. That's why it says blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven that means God will give you satisfaction. The second one. It says Those Who mourn and that's why it's counterculture. When was the last time and we associate morning with blessing? This is the host reward are blessed blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted? You see if we didn't have any problems. How would we know that God could solve it?

If you don't face challenges, how do we know that we have a god that is strong that is faithful if you've never gone through any healing as hell would we know that God can heal? Does blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted the New Living Translation says blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted just the same. B b here in the morning also is that just died that God will confirm Comfort us but it's also about our heartbreaking for what breaks God's heart because of Grace, you know in our churches today. We saw and precise grave. So Grand so gray so Grace. Couldn't we don't thixton seriously?

But God says we need to walk worthy of the Gospel got this extended something to cry over and he went says blessed. Are those who mourn when was the last time you cried over your sins? When was the last time you detest the juice in it was not just claiming to Grace Grace Grace. But to go before God like David goes before God and says it didn't cry out to God and says the bones that you have broken didn't because of his City felt like all these bones were broken and he cried out to God and repent it. When was the last time you repented? You cried your sorrow over your sin because you are not where you need to be spiritually and you keep falling in the same send over and over. This is how you keep falling for the same scene over. Don't play me some Grace it's time to mourn. because God takes them seriously in Genesis chapter 5 verse verse 5 & 6 we see God there says he was sorry that he made man because he was broken over the sin of man with the send that people were committed I read for you in Genesis chapter 5 verse 5

Genesis 6 verse 5 & 6 the Lord so that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord regretted that he had made man on the earth and it grieved him to his heart. Heart is broken over said so as Christians we can be touring with since we got to take send seriously and God says a when we grieve over our sin as his eight. I will comfort you.

Spec sheet Grace remember for us to be forgiven. Jesus had to give his life. So we cannot fix the unlikely because Jesus died for our sins and as Believers, we don't fight for victory we fight from Victory. So we don't have to send as we learn in first John we sin because we know what you said. And if we turn to God with one of our sin with tickets, seriously, God will help us Isaiah 61 verse 26 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of Vengeance of our God to do what conferred. All woo. Morn. Did God is very interested in you got is very interested in your Affliction. If you go into any problems, you should not run away from God. You should run to God whether it's in where there is probably what is trials that you faced. Don't run away from God but run to him because he is the great Khan furter. That's what he is in John chapter 16 Wednesday. I will send you a helper Just like me and Jesus talking to the disciples and he says he will teach you and he will comfort you. See Jesus is our great Khan further in 2nd Corinthians 1 verse 3 and 4 has blessed our blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ the father of mercies and God of something. Does middle finger guard will that cover the whatever you face? What is an ALS what it was problem with your dog becoming send? God is the God of All Comfort with Comforts Us in all our afflictions so that we may be able to comfort those who are in Affliction. So really God is giving you a Ministry when God gives you problems. And a lot of us, we just waste our pain we waste our problem and we never use our pain to teach somebody else. We never use our pain to comfort somebody else 8 hours for the exact same thing that you went flew. He is how God got me out of it. But the problem a lot of us never got killed from our problems because we're not heal from our problems in our problems are worthless to us. We can not use it for Ministry. But that's why God is here. God is here to be our healer, whatever hard stuff you want to whatever problem it is. God wants you to use that God wants to heal you from it. So that God can use you as a Healer to heal somebody else. Whatever it is that you faced. God do not want you to waste your pain. God does not want you to waste your Affliction to waste your problems. Whatever problems that you faced. Let God heal you let God help you make it to the finish line and let God use you guys are going to just heal you from and just know I'm good. Now that's other people the same problem. God wants you to use your pain so that you can be a blessing to others. Amen. Doesn't matter what it is the most dire things whether it's a loss of a loved one a divorce whatever it is like a break up whatever it is. God wants you to use that pain to be a blessing to somebody else. Can we do that? The third one the meat the meat which got a lot of attention last week. I was surprised that it did but the meat here when we look up the verse that says blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. What are the meek? Let's look at the New Living Translation says God blesses those who are humble those who are Meek or people who are humble the translation is gentle. 4D will inherit the whole earth now don't mistake and meekness for weakness weakness is not weakness, but I went to see somebody's gentle and kind and people want to take advantage of them. Somebody has experience with that is not weakness in meatless is humility. But it's also power or strength under control. It's power or strength on the control. You see in the Greco Roman Empire. They would train horses when they train the horses when they they they they breaking the horse. It's not to take away the the horses strength and power or speed but the goal when they breaking the horses that the horse will come under submission that the horse will stop being independent and wild doing whatever the horse wants to do go in wherever the horse wants to do, but they break the horse so that the horse will go where the writer is stealing it to go. They break the horse did it take away speed did not take away the strength, but they brought the horse on their submission. That's what maintenance is meekness is submitting yourself on their God submission is to stop being independent and even being Wild.

And then you come under God. I'm not going to be independent and do my own thing. I'm not going to just be wild out there in the world and do whatever I want to do, but I'm going to submit on their God leadership and then let God lead me where I need to go. Am I still me? Yes, I'm still mean but now I'm somebody was surrendered on the Christ. Now when people step on my toes, even though I want to say something or I want to do a reflex. But not God is holding your hand holding it, you know, keep it close to you. Do you still have the strength to have that same reflex that you weren't at 2 still are they the same words that you care but now you hold it in. You keep your hands to yourself. Beard works. Is this still you still have the same strength? You can still do the same things. But now you choose not to do it. So meekness is strength under control. Matthew 11:29 say take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle meek and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your soul. See you in good company. Jesus was Meek Moses is referred to as being me in the Old Testament. So God calls us to be make look at some 37 verse 11. It says versus one.

Verse 1 says fret not yourself because of evildoers bnet and views of long do Wars why people do evil stuff against that? If it raises up something it has right. I don't worry about them. Not yourself because of evil doors. Don't worry about them being a piece of them. Why?

Got this be meek, but the meek shall inherit the land and the light themselves in abundance of peace.

Remember I told you two words that summarize the message. The Beatitudes is live Counter Culture. What does the culture keep teaches? We got to fight for our rights? Oh, I'm not going to let anybody walk over me. I'm not going to be a doormat. Great.

That's okay. Don't worry about them. Let them do their self. But in the end you being Meek you using your strength on the control that says you shall inherit the land that means you going to get your way that we can be God's way for you and you will Delight in abundant. Peace. You don't fight thinking gets very exhausting. I see a lot of people just fight fight fight fight fight. It gets very exhausting. Sometimes you just have to let go and let God 2nd Corinthians 6 verse 10 says I saw a full yet always rejoicing that fall in his companions as pool yet making many rich as having nothing yet possessing everything. Remember I always tell you why I from Victory you do not fight for victory. It's already yours. That's why you don't have to fight. You can be meek keep your strength under control and God will take care of you. Does that make sense? All right. One of those who hunger and thirst so that only we need to be poor in spirit. We need to mourn over especially spiritual things of our sins that are hardly broken for what Greek god. We need to be meek for they shall inherit the land because God has a plan and a purpose for us and God wants us to enjoy blessings that we have here. And God says 8, I have a plan and a purpose for you and I want you to enjoy all of it and a lot of us are not experiencing the full life the Abundant Life everything that God has for us because we refused to keep our strength up on the control. We refuse to be make a doctors 8 when you keep your strength under control. That's my plan will come out for you. You will look that Abundant Life the one you trying to do on your own and you keep failing. That's as a split it under control and then see how I work in you and through you then he says Those Who hunger and thirst so verse 5 Verse 6 says blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be satisfied the righteousness. You have no legal aspects of righteousness. That's what Christ did for us on the Christ Christ died for us because of that Christ made us righteous. So position in Christ, we are righteous people, but also God calls us to moral righteousness. That means that we live according to his ways and so calls us to social righteousness or what we call today. Social justice. Never heard that word. You see I think often now because the church often still being the church now people in the world think they are the one who came with the idea of social justice. Now, you see the younger folks just going on and I thinking that oh we doing this is social justice social justice, like there are the one who came up with the idea.

Who founded the hospital system? What are they called Methodist Baptist?

But the church knows what social justice is because it's from God and that's why now, we can take the church for our healthcare system. Thank the church with his problems in a country. Everybody's moving know if missionaries are moving in these social justice the Civil Rights Movement. We forget sometimes that Martin Luther King was a preacher first.

Social justice comes from the Bible the problem we have today a lot of young folks a little people trying to do social justice without God. You cannot do social justice without God. It is exhausting and that's why the church has to be the church. We need to continue to do the things that we have done in the past like the healthcare system like you see when the black legs everybody was moving out but Christians were moving in and taking care of the sake. You see what God calls us to do. We need to create a better world where everybody is the otherwise if we had become saved that got you just take us to Heaven if we don't have to do anything. But we are saving got this I still want you here. I want you to make the world a better place for everyone that also means as a manager when you hiring people and then you have the power you pay them a fair wage. That's social justice so that they can take care of their family and take care of themselves Proverbs says for him to know what the problem is. This is for him to know what to do good and does not do it to him. It is sin gems. Probably talked about you know when you have the power to do something and you just you don't do it for you were to send. The social justice, that's what he's talking about doing this blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness or Justice? They shall be satisfied the New Living Translation says God bless those who hunger and thirst for justice for they will be satisfied when you help somebody in need this is it come with a satisfaction. You should not do it to be satisfied like to feel good about yourself, but there is something powerful about it when you meet a need you make the world a better place. It feels good to know that you have helped somebody else. See as I already told you the problem with the social justice movement and our culture today. They trying to do it without God but Genesis tells us far be it from me to do such a thing to put the righteous to death with the wicked so that the righteous Fair as the wicked far be that from you shall not the judge of all the Earth do what is Judge. That was Abraham questioning God, but the idea is that God is the judge of all the Earth. So social justice comes from God. We cannot have true social justice apart from God now we get to Mercy blessed are the merciful For they shall receive Mercy now. We see the reciprocity here. So God is saying this blessing you get when you are also a blessing. You got it blessed are the merciful for they shall receive.

Blessed or what about those who do not blessed. Are they going to be blessed? If you are not merciful. Are you going to receive Mercy? Look up the worst blessed are the merciful for they shall receive.

New Living Translation God bless those who are merciful for they will be shown Mercy.

So remember this Des rocs reciprocity when you are merciful Mercy is not giving somebody what they deserve somebody deserve punishment just like when your kids mess up but instead of getting that's making you give them Mercy I do not give you what you do deserve and they all the kids say hallelujah.

You know your parents are good for you many times as a kid growing up but Marcy but God says hey. If you want you want to receive Mercy, you better be merciful. Got this if you do not give Mercy to others. You will not receive Mercy that's in the next chapter in chapter. 6 actually even asked a question. It says why should God do to you what you are not willing to do for others that strap to say to each of the five. Just you can turn to chapter 6 when you get home, that's what it says. So if you want to receive Mercy, you need to be merciful. That's the reciprocity you Psalm 18 verse 25 says with the merciful you show yourself. Merciful with the blameless man. You show yourself blameless. Oh God gives Mercy to those who are merciful Matthew 25:40 in the king will answer them. Truly. I say to you as you did to one of the least of these my brothers you did it to me Luke 6:37 judge not and you will not be judged can them that and you will not be condemned forgive and you will be forgiven or one of us might be able to forgive us, but we do not want to forgive anybody a lot of us want to run to guy Drive forgive me forgive me, but we are not willing to forgive others, but God says why should I do for you? What you are not willing to do for others first Thessalonians, 5:14 and 15. So then we argue Brothers admonish the idle and courage the I did help the weak be patient with them. All Mercy see the no one repays anyone evil for evil but always seek to do good Mercy to one another and to everyone that only we need to be poor in spirit when it to mourn over our sin. We need to be meek. We need to hunger and thirst for righteousness.

We need to be merciful and here. God calls us to be pure in heart in verse Aid it says blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. What does it mean to be? Pure in heart Matthew in in the New Living Translation that goes the same way God bless those whose hearts are pure for they will see God if you of heart means that you have no ulterior motives. For the things that you do you just do it because it is the right thing to do. You do it because you are being a fantastic you are not Faking It few of heart means when I help somebody. I did it out of my fuel card out of the sincerity of my heart. I did not do it to be put on a pedestal. I did not do it to get something but I just did it because that's what God would want me to do in the Bible says blessed are the pure in heart. They will see God's. Oh God isn't hey you want to see me? Make sure your motives are lines. To me that you do not have any ulterior motives. In Psalm 119 verse 9 to 6 minutes is how can a young man? Keep his way pure? How safe with me by guarding it according to your word the way you purify your heart is to feed yourself with the word of God. The more of the word of God you are you have any of them all fantasy will be the more pure your motives will be with my whole heart and I seek you let me not Wonder from your commitment that mean you seeking after God. That's how you keep your heart. Pure. I have stored up your word in my heart. You memorize scripture. That's what keeps you pure that I might not sin against you blessed. Are you? Oh Lord, teach me your statutes you pray to God God is keeping your heart pure with my lease. I declare all the rules of you. Mouth I worship you in worship. God is cleansing you and purify your heart in the way of your testimonies. I do light as much as in all riches when you get to God's word. You want to read God's word excitement. Teach me teach me teach me. That's what David is saying here in the way of your testimonies. I Delight as much as when you look at your Bible. It's like you got a check for million-dollar.

If we take that attitude to the Bible, you see how much the God can do in us and flew us. David is saying in the way of your testimony is at the lights as much in all riches. I will meditate on your precepts. You want to clean your heart meditate on God's word and fix my eyes on your ways. I will Delight in your statues. I will not forget your word. That means you keep God's word clothes. You keep it closed. Then you will have a pure heart some 24 verse 126 goes like this. The Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof the world and those would well there in for he has founded it up on the season establish it up on the rivers. Whoosh Allison to the heel of the Lord and we shall stand in his holy Place seeing God remember blessed are the pure in heart de Shaw. Play God so you can do that. He will eyes Clean Hands and a pure heart with does not lift his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. You see offensive City. He will receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the god of Salvation. God promised blessings search is the generation search are the people of those who seek Him will seek the face of the son of Jacob send a beautiful now, you should look at some point E4 in a way different light. You want to be pure of heart you want to see God God's is a seek my face. And when you do you will see me and now it gets to the next beer. Dudes it says blessed are the peace makers that is very difficult. Sometimes to be a peacemaker. Does it matter how hard you try you try to keep the peace? But some people will not let you keep the peace. I just tried to reach out to them too many things, but they want to keep it up. Anybody with experience with this?

Peacemakers is very hard in our culture to be peacemakers, but that's what God calls us to. I just blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God. If you want to be counted as a Son of God. God says I hate the way you do that is by being a peace maker in the New Living Translation. It says God bless those will work for peace. What's a job? You got to do something that just waiting for peace to a bid to to happen to actively be working for peace. at the workplace You know, there are some people who wants to take away your peace to God says I want you to be a worker of Peace at your workplace. God says not just the workplace but in your own house. Pat says I want you to work for

God says God bless those will work for peace for they will be called children of God Hebrews 12:14 say strive for peace with everyone and for the Holiness without which no one will see the Lord. So God wants us to be workers of Peace when people don't want us to be peacemakers. God calls us a you still strive for Words, whether people want it or not. God says a you can you go in so not only God calls us to be poor in spirit tomorrow to be meek to hunger and thirst for righteousness to be merciful to be peacemakers and lastly God calls us to think persecution head-on. Look at verse 10 blessed are those who are persecuted you got to read this verse with me. They don't mean blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. It is a privilege to be persecuted.

Now make sure you look at the versus persecuted for what? For doing write a lot of us like to inflict pain on ourselves that has nothing to do with God. We self-inflict a pain but he sings blessed are those who are persecuted for doing right for doing what is good for being a good worker at work? And then when it comes time for them to cut some people love you are the one will get cut first, even though you were the one doing all the work for being persecuted, you know always show up on time, but somebody else get the promotion.

It breaks his Spirit, but God says blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom that that you always late and then you got fired and then you can't you can quit this worse, but I thought those were pretty good being persecuted Church you do all the time. So it was a long time coming.

That's my persecution that self-inflicted pain, but your guys's ate when you are doing the right thing when it's for the right reason you trying to help somebody's need and then you get revalue get persecuted. The guys is a you are blessed. The Kingdom of Heaven is yours and then it continues and verse 11 blessed. Are you when others reviled? That's what we face more today is like you tried to do something good for someone and then you does it return to you as a thank you, but it's more like

where were you all that time? I don't even need your help.

You know how it goes the blessed are you and others revile you and persecute you and other all kinds of evil against you that slender gossip watch you while you doing the right thing. On my account number again. It's for righteousness. Jesus says say the word with me. rejoice

you know that Joy is a choice.

Is the word that rejoices like a man does rejoice and be glad? Because Joy is a choice. To Rejoice is a choice you got that. The Rejoice is a choice.

rejoice and be glad for your reward is great. So the more persecution for righteousness the greater the reward so we should all go for persecutions, right?

Remember, I told you the message in two ways to live counter-culture rejoice and be glad your reward is great in heaven. So they persecuted the prophets will were before you so really this is the saying you are in good company.

If they persecuted the prophets, why do you think they're not going to persecute you?

What about Jesus Jesus was beating right? Jesus was spit Upon. Jesus said to go on the cross. And died. The Bible says a servant is not above his master serve the master went to suffering. Why do we think that I would like to be perfect because we are Christian.

That we should have our best life now.

I would life will not be free from problems because we are Christians. I told because we're Christians we might face some serious problems. But again, that doesn't mean we're not going to have good in this life. Remember for the believer we fight from Victory. You going to have a great life despite your pain despite your problems because God is in your court date for the believer. When you go into the pain, you're not going through it alone. You keep smiling. still happy that is attractive. People will want to be like you. Because you are being more like Christ and that's what God calls us do today.
