If you are not being effective for the Lord, then Satan has nothing to worry about. If you are unwilling to share your faith, then Satan does not need to try and stop you. If you are scared to speak the name of Jesus for fear of retribution, then Satan does not need to try and silence you. Your willingness to be prepared and boldly step out to share Jesus will directly impact your effectiveness and thereby, the need for a shield of faith.
