God’s King has Come

God’s King has Come to Earth

Zechariah 9:9 ESV

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Just one of many reminders that Jesus is God’s great King, Prophet, and Priest!

a. He was born a King

Matthew 2:2 “saying, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.””

b. He lived with the affairs of the kingdom on His mind. His focus was God’s kingdom

c. He died as a King

Matthew 27:13 “Then Pilate said to him, “Do you not hear how many things they testify against you?””

God’s King is Coming Again!

John 14:3 ESV

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

King Jesus Reigns

Luke 17:20–21 ESV

Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, “The kingdom of God is not coming in ways that can be observed, nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.”
