The infinity and immeasurability of God communicate to us that God is not bound by time and space. He is beyond both in the most majestic and incomprehensible way.
Infinite.
Immeasurable.
Immense/Omnipresent.
Omnipresence- positive consideration of Gods presence with specific reference to creatures.
So if brother Ron comes in today and says to brother Lyle, oh, Lyle, I had the most amazing time with God Saturday morning. A wonderful time of devotion and prayer. And brother Lyle says, oh, me too brother. And Ron says, “oh yeah, I was up at 4:30 and praying and reading the Word, meditating and singing, up until about 6:30am. And brother Lyle says, oh yeah, me too. And then Ron says, well how could you have that sweet time of fellowship with him if he was with me? And the two start to bicker about it. And then they we discuss the fact that no creature competes for the essence of God. Because he is present everywhere, and He all present with His blessing to his people as well! And even in the most intimate way. That’s a wonderful thought is it not! As much as we would all enjoy someone like Ron or Lyles presence with us, they can only be one place at one time.
Immensity- negative consideration of Gods presence beyond creation. (Though everywhere present in creation, His essence is not bound to the created realm.)
Following Turretin, God is everywhere present in three ways; 1) by His knowledge 2) by His Power 3) by His essence.
Scripture
Jer 23:24. cf. 1 Kings 8:27.
Turretin asks a great question at the conclusion of his section on immensity; Why raise our eyes to heaven?
He gives the following;
Is omnipressence a problem for God concerning creatures?
No. God is in the meanest and most mundane of creatures.
Eternal.
