Today we are continuing our series Audacious Faith with the topic to Pray Audaciously.
What is Audacious Prayer?
Audacious prayer is not just an inspired and emotion-filled prayer; IT IS A PRAYER OF FAITH IN GOD. Therefore, it is bold, fearless, and unashamed to ask God for the supernatural. It is a faith that is convinced that with man, it is impossible, but with God, all things are possible. Audacity implies a boldness that may not always be appropriate but is always daring. The dictionary uses such phrases as “recklessly brave” and “recklessly bold in defiance of convention, propriety, law, or the like.” The Bible is full of audacious prayers of many who sought God in faith and desperation!
1 One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. 2 “There was a judge in a certain city,” he said, “who neither feared God nor cared about people. 3 A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’ 4 The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, 5 but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’ ”
Audacious Prayer Never Gives Up!
Audacious Prayer Never Gives Up!
We don’t pray once and if nothing happens instantly we give up. No we keep praying. Notice in this passage that the widow wanted justice. She knew her rights. In the same way, we know our rights. In fact, we are children of the only righteous God.
13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
We Pray According to His Word!
We Pray According to His Word!
Praying audaciously means we pray according to the Word of God. We don’t plea and be bold on what we feel, no we stand on the Word of God and pray accordingly. We need to remember that God hastens to perform His Word!
When we do this, we know He hears us and because of that fact, we know our prayers will be answered in His timing.
7 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
Praying Audaciously Keeps On Going!
Praying Audaciously Keeps On Going!
We are to keep asking God and we are to keep seeking His will and we keep on knocking. It becomes our habit to keep it going when it comes to praying.
16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. 17 Elijah was as human as we are, and yet when he prayed earnestly that no rain would fall, none fell for three and a half years! 18 Then, when he prayed again, the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its crops.
Our Prayers Produce Wonderful Results!
Our Prayers Produce Wonderful Results!
We need to have the audacity to have the faith to believe that our prayers produce wonderful results. We must believe that our prayers are effective. If we don’t believe that then what is the use of praying for others. Someone asks us to pray for their family because they trust our prayers will be effective and help their family in need. If we don’t believe our prayers produce results, we shouldn’t pray.
14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Praying Audaciously Is What Our Country Needs!
We must stand in the gap for our community, our island, our state, our nation, and our world. If we don’t humble ourselves and pray audaciously, we cannot expect healing our land to come. It is so important for the church, that’s us to Pray Audaciously. Let’s do this!!
