“Your heart has never been, nor now, deceitful” (I’d ask what Scripture has to say about the heart, or how she arrived at that truth)
… when she was a “Christian nationalist” (when describing her guests’ previous affiliation with the church)
PTSD from rapture theology (KMT). “Self flagellation needed” when describing being saved but still needing to ask forgiveness (huh?).
Asking for forgiveness after being saved (“just in case”)
Do you still attend any kind of church? Answer: No. Are open to the idea, but would need to be…. (fully affirming among other things). “I’m fine without and having Sunday to myself/family”. Better than the stress of feeling like you have to get people to church. Her spouse is non-binary, “them” and it”s “more stressful to them”. My new church is going to protests (BLM and LGBT). “Being themselves in a church community.” Celebrating them vs. asking them to change.
I don’t think the walls of Jericho actually fell… (KMT)
Concept of “feeling” authentic, and having that not “be bad or evil”. So… “I can trust my instincts”
KMT: The grief of not being certain: I don’t know the answer to that.
My note: There seems to be a VAST set of confusion around disagreeing with something, and that somehow implying that someone does not have “value.” KMT: “The whole point is to learn how to be ourselves.” KMT: It’s beautiful when we realize that there is nothing about ourselves that needs to be fixed. BINGO: This is the root.
