Palm Sunday Mark 11:7 And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him. 8 And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way. 9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord: 10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

To begin with brothers and sisters Christian Friends, Well Wishers, and Saints of God This is one of the fewest times that Jesus allowed Himself to be seen and recognized as the True King. We already know that Jesus is the Messiah, We already know that Jesus is our Elder Brother. We already know that Jesus is our Propitiation. WE already know that Jesus is our personal Mediator. And we already know that Jesus is our Intercessor up in heaven on behalf of mankind.

And now the streets of Jerusalem are crowded and full. Jerusalem had over 2 million migrants and immigrants and Pilgrims and travelers. Many were of the diaspora and they were coming home to celebrate the Passover Feasts. On the second Sunday we took you through the Last Supper of Jesus with His disciples. This Sunday is Palm Sunday and we’re walking backwards to this famous and spectacular event.

Today let’s look at Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. In Mark 11:1 the bible says As Jesus and his followers were coming closer to Jerusalem, they came to the towns of Bethphage and Bethany near the Mount of Olives. From there Jesus sent two of his followers 2 and said to them, “Go to the town you can see there. When you enter it, you will quickly find a colt tied, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here to me. 3 If anyone asks you why you are doing this, tell him its Master needs the colt, and he will send it at once.” Jesus trusted two disciples a clear directive because He knew 3 things 1. that they would get the job done 2. That they had Godly obedience to their leader and then 3. That they would Accomplish the job with dignity diplomacy and without foolish drama. Jesus didn’t send Thomas because Thomas would have gone their doubting that it could be done. Jesus didn’t send Nathaniel because Nathaniel would have been negative all the way going and coming back. Jesus didn’t send Judas because Judas would have tried to some how get some money out the deal. Jesus didn’t send James and John because they would tried to step into Jesus’Role and would have wanted to ride the donkey with Jesus. They would have act like a donkey.. And the church said Amen. So Peter and John went and did what Jesus said to do.

Because Jesus is on a timeline and he couldn’t wait. Some things are time sensitive and you have to move on things immediately. ( Some people listen and some people don’t) and that’s the truth. Obedience os always better than sacrifice.I’d rather obedient people because obedient people get things done. Obedient people have favor with God because of their obedience. Obedient people have flaws and fizzure and failures and short coming just like everybody else but the difference is that God won’t let them fizzle before the finish God will grant them with a fabulous future. And the church said Amen.

Now notice the next set of dynamics in the text in Mark 11: 4 And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him. 5 And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt? 6 And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go. First of all when you do what God say to do it works out. All things work together for good to those who are the called according to His purpose. That’s #1.

Then #2. When you say what God says to say the message will fall of good ground.

3. When you operate with the Authority of God approving you through His word,,,, you will be successful.

Tell your neighbor: we gon make it. And so they got the donkeys and they brought the donkeys too Jesus. The mother donkey and the baby colt donkey. And the little colt donkey had never been written on before.the bible says in Matthew 21:7 They brought the donkey and the colt to Jesus and laid their coats on them, and Jesus sat on them.Let me push a nugget out right here. 1. The lowly donkey is associated with kingship. 2. The donkey in biblical antiquity was used as a royal animal for Jewish Monarchs and then 3. The fact that a donkey that had never been rode on before stood still for Jesus tells us a lot. It speaks to Jesus’ authority animals. but that’s not all Jesus has authority over the wind and the waves and the sea because He spoke three little words and the sea got calm Jesus said Peace Be Still. Yeah 3 Jesus had authority over sickness and disease and over death itself. Because we’ve read in the scripture how Jesus made the lame to walk the dumb to talk the deaf to hear the blind to see and how he raised the dead. And when MY Jesus is Properly Presented as the True Messiah of Mankind the whole universe comes under subjection to His Authority. And the church said Amen.

Listen brothers and sisters when the disciples put their clothes on the backs of the donkeys it was a type of symbolism. yeah symbolism that demonstrated that Jesus is the King of Kings. Because Zechariah 9: 9 says “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King! cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an donkey ass, and upon a colt the foal of a donkey an ass. This great event that we call Palm Sunday is symbolic because

1. It represent Jesus as the Messiah that had been prophesied in eternity past because the bible say as a Lamb that had been slain before the foundations of the world.

2. It represented the symbolic meaning of Jesus the Messiah in the eternal now. Not later on but the eternal Now.

and then 3.It represented Jesus the Messiah of the future, and One day Jesus is coming back Yes sir! for His church a church without a spot or wrinkle.. Question is will you be there? Shall I look for you over there in Glory Land. Will you be in that Number?

Well the bible says that

in Matthew 21: 8 Many people spread their coats on the road. Others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

I’ve got to close here but tah Jesus has now positioned Himself to be on Main Street in Jerusalem um um um. Yes Lord He wanted to Yes Lord Show them the deity of Christ the Messiah Oh Lord He wanted to show them the Very Son of the True and Living God UM Um. Great God Main street Jerusalem yes was just like Time Square in New York City. Main street Jerusalem was just like Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles California. Um Yes Main street Jerusalem was just Like State street in Chicago Illinois, yes Main street Jerusalem was just like Florida Blvd in Baton Rouge And Main street Jerusalem was just like Canal street in New Orleans Louisiana oh yes it was .

And The little donkey never made a sound never ran off the road and never acted crazy oh Lord And don’t you hear the saints on heaven saying Ride on King Jesus Ride On. Oh Lord . The people along the parade route strew Palm in the way Ride On King Jesus Ride On They laid down their cloaks and coats in the pathway and It look like the Red Carpet row like Hollywood California. Ride on King Jesus Ride On.

OH don’t you hear them saying Hosanna Hosanna in the Highest Blesseth is He that cometh in the Name of the Lord. They were saying The Lord Saves Right Now. In other words you and I can be saved right now. Jesus can save you right now and if you don’t know Jesus in the pardon of your sins and you want to be saved and you need to be baptized this is your blessed opportunity. Because Jesus saved my Souls He made me whole Pick me up and turned me around put my feet on solid ground. Ride on King Jesus Ride ON. Then I heard the Pharisees saying Jesus they’re trying to make you equal with God Make them Hush.. Make them Hush Make they Hush And I heard Jesus saying If these hold their peace The Rocks will cry out. Oh Lordy and Let me say for myself I don’t need no rock crying out for me because If I had 10,000 tongues I’d praise God with every one of them Hallelujah! Glory to God, Thank You Jesus, Bless the Lamb,,,, Hosanna Hosanna You’re Worthy to be praised

Lord! Jesus you’re worthy of all the honor all the glory and all of our praise. And I just want to say Thank You 3x Is there anybody in here that Love my Jesus. If you Love Him like I Love Him why don’t you stand up and clap your hand

why don’t you shout Hallelujah Why don’t you tell the Lord Thank You. Thank You Lord because you heard my cry and Pitied my every groan and long as O live I’ll hasten to my God Throne… 8th Ain’t He Alright! 7th Ain’t He Alright

7th 8th 10th Ain’t He Alright.
