Review
In verse 3 the word “blessed” or “blessing” is used three times. What does the word mean? Who are we supposed to bless?
What Does“predestined” mean in verse 5 and explain how we are predestined.
How are we “adopted” as children?
According to verses 7-9 what does redemption mean? How are we Forgiven?
What are the two ways we are sealed by the Holy Spirit?
If we are blessed, why are we supposed to stand out?
How can you bless God more this week? What are some things you could say?
How can you stand out more like you are blessed by God?
Last week we talked about being blessed by God through His Spiritual Blessings and that we need to also bless God.
Blessing God though is not just through the words we say or coming to youth group once a week. It’s how we live our lives.

Question 1 - What does Saint mean and why does Paul give thanks for these saints? (Verse 16)
Paul Gives thanks because they are having faith in Jesus Christ! They believe that He is their Lord and Savior and that they are now also Saints. Saints means those that are Christian.
Paul is so excited that they believe in the Gospel.
Question 2 - What is the Gospel?

Question 3 - What is Paul praying for? (Verse 17-19)
That God will give them wisdom and knowledge
That their hearts will be enlightened
That they will know the hope
The reward in heaven!
The great might of His power in us who believe and are saints.
Question 4 - What is wisdom? What is knowledge?
Wisdom is what you do with your knowledge.
Question 5 - What does enlightened mean? How does our hearts get enlightened?
Question 6 - Is Christ Dead? Where is Christ now? (Verses 20 and 21)
Question 7 - How powerful is Jesus Christ? (Verses 22 and 23)
