Tech Meeting
I am proud of how enthusiastic you all have been and continue to be about serving in the tech ministry. You all show a willingness to jump up and help with whatever the next task is. Sunday mornings are continuing to run smoother with less tech distractions. The Christmas play went well and now the Easter play is on its way to be a show stopper as well. This can’t happen without a team effort. As we wrap up this Easter season and step into a less busy season I encourage you all to not loss focus of what our goal as a team is.
Our main goal, is to glorify the Lord and help others know Him through serving in this ministry. This takes a team effort; all of us doing what we know is right in the Lords eyes. Below are some verses on faithfulness and responsibility. Think about how we can apply this:
Galatians 6:7–10 (ESV)
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Strive to be faithful in serving even with the little mundane tasks. Continue to do what is right in the sight of the Lord to glorify Him. Encourage one another in humility to do the same.
English Standard Version (Chapter 25)
His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master
Proverbs 28:20 (ESV)
A faithful man will abound with blessings, but whoever hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.
Being rewarded for faithfulness.
Final observations: Be faithful with little and you will be rewarded with much. Responsibility takes being disciplined, being patient, and being humble.
