THE RESURRECTION OF THE BODY
Just as a seed is buried in the ground and then grows into a beautiful flower, our earthly bodies will be buried and then rise again on the day of resurrection, transformed and made new.
Think of a simple seed that is planted in the ground and then blossoms into a beautiful, fruitful plant. Our bodies, sown in weakness, will be raised in power on the day of resurrection, transformed and renewed.
Consider the butterfly, which starts as a lowly caterpillar, goes through a period of darkness inside a cocoon, and then emerges as a completely new and beautiful creature. In the same way, our bodies will be transformed on the day of resurrection, and we will emerge in glory.
Just as a caterpillar is transformed into a butterfly, our mortal bodies will be transformed into immortal bodies through the power of the resurrection, shedding the limitations and weaknesses of our earthly existence.
