In 1981 a movie was released that taught me everything I knew about a Biblical topic at the time.
Dr. Henry Walton Jones, Jr. who gave himself his nickname of “Indiana” - his dog’s name - was the main character in the movie called “Raiders of the Lost Ark”
The Bible calls the Ark of the Covenant - The Ark of the Testimony
It was the specific place where God chose to put His presence
Ark = Box
Testimony = Witness
God causes His presence to reside in the vessel that testifies the truth about Him.

3 Things Inside of the Ark of the Testimony:

The 10 Commandments (The Testimony - that Yahweh is the One True God)
A Bowl of Manna (Supernatural Provision)
The Walking Stick of Aaron made of an Almond Tree that budded & came to life in the Presence of God

A Biblical Account of the Power of One Person’s Testimony

Jesus met a woman, at a well, who was of poor pedigree and caught in a lifetime’s worth of sin.
After capturing the woman’s interest through a dialogue about natural water and living water -
John 4:16–19 NKJV
Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.” The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You have well said, ‘I have no husband,’ for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly.” The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet.
John 4:28–30 NKJV
The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” Then they went out of the city and came to Him.
John 4:39–42 NKJV
And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all that I ever did.” So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. And many more believed because of His own word. Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.”

Your Personal Story is Powerful

Revelation 12:11 NKJV
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Our personal testimony is in the top 3 tools we have to overcoming the devil
The Bible calls the Devil - “The Accuser”
He is like a prosecuting attorney in a court of law.
Our personal testimony is actually presenting evidence of the fact that we are no longer what we are accused of being. We have been changed!
Jesus changes people.
Jesus changed me.
People don’t need copycat testimony’s they need to hear YOUR authentic life-changed story .

An easy method of sharing your story:

B.C. (Before Christ) - Where have you been.
C. - How did you meet Jesus?
A.C. (After You Met Christ) - How has Jesus changed your life for the better?
Acts 1:8 NKJV
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Just One Thing:

Starting with those closest to you, tell everyone everywhere what happened to you and watch as God puts His presence on it.
