Opening
We have all gathered here today to celebrate one of life's greatest moments, the joining of two hearts. In this ceremony today we will witness the joining of Chris Hall and Madison Edge in marriage.
Out of the routine of ordinary life, the extraordinary has happened. The two met each other, fell in love and are finalizing it with their wedding today. Romance is fun, but true love is something far more. Without true love, today would be far less joyous.
This is not the beginning of a new relationship but an acknowledgment of the next chapter in their lives together.
Chris and Madison will mark their transition as a couple not only by celebrating the love between themselves, but by also celebrating the love between all of us—including the love of their parents, siblings, extended family, and friends.
But today is also a celebration for the rest of us, for it is a pleasure for us to see love in bloom, and to participate in this union.

God’s Design for Marriage
(Genesis 2:18-25)
2:18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a companion for him who corresponds to him.” 19 The Lord God formed out of the ground every living animal of the field and every bird of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them, and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So the man named all the animals, the birds of the air, and the living creatures of the field, but for Adam no companion who corresponded to him was found. 21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep, and while he was asleep, he took part of the man’s side and closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the part he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. 23Then the man said, “This one at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; this one will be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.”24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and unites with his wife, and they become a new family. 25 The man and his wife were both naked, but they were not ashamed.
Long before today’s union God designed Marriage and ordained it to be so. This text describes the original marriage, and it serves as the basis for almost everything else that the Bible says about marriage. It explains God’s reason for designing marriage and also gives us many principles which, if applied, will enable us to build marriages which honor God and bring lasting joy to us.
The text teaches us that: God designed marriage to meet our need for companionship and to provide an illustration of our relationship with Him.
Words of Wisdom
● A good marriage must be created.
● In marriage the "little" things are the big things.
● It is never being too old to hold hands.
● It is remembering to say,” I love you" at least once a day.
● It is never going to sleep angry.
● It is standing together and facing the world.
● It is speaking words of appreciation, and demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways.
● It is having the capacity to forgive and forget.
● It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow.
● It is a common search for the good and the beautiful.
● It is not only marrying the right person -- it is being the right partner
DECLARATION OF INTENT
Chris and Madison, you have come together this day so that the Lord may seal and strengthen your love in the presence of this minister and community of family and friends.
So, in the presence of this gathering, I ask you to state your intentions: Have you both come here freely and without reservation to give yourselves to each other in marriage?
If so, answer by saying 'I have.'
I have.
VOWS
(Face each other and hold hands) (Repeat after me)
GROOM:
Do you Chris take Madison to be your WIFE, partner in life and one true love. Will you cherish your friendship and love HER today, tomorrow, and forever.
Will you trust and honor her
Will you laugh with her and cry with her.
Will you love her faithfully?
Through the best and the worst,
Through the difficult and the easy.
Whatever may come will you always be there.
As you have given her your hand to hold today, will you also give her your life to keep?
If you Do; then respond by saying, “I DO.”
Do you promise to take out the trash and pick up your clothes off the floor? ("I do")
And Do you promise to love her even when she is cranky ("I do")
Do you Madison take Chris to be your Husband, partner in life and one true love. Will you cherish your friendship and love HIM today, tomorrow, and forever.
Will you trust and honor him
Will you laugh with him and cry with him (NOT AT HIM).
Will you love him faithfully?
Through the best and the worst,
Through the difficult and the easy.
Whatever may come will you always be there.
As you have given him your hand to hold today, will you also give him your life to keep?
If you Do; then respond by saying, “I DO.”
Do you promise to tell him how great he is and pick up your clothes off the floor? ("I do")
And do you promise to love him even when he is barking orders at you ("I do")
Do you promise to understand that Chris is God’s before yours? (“I do”)

Ring Exchange (who has the rings)
There are 3 rings of marriage.
● The wedding ring,
● The Engagement ring and
● The suffering.
We hope the latter can be held to a minimum.
A ring is an unbroken circle, with ends that have been joined together, and it represents your union. It is a symbol of infinity, and of your infinite love. When you look at these rings on your hands, be reminded of this moment, your commitment, and the love you now feel for each other.
(Repeat after me)
GROOM
I Chris, take you, Madison to be my Wife, for as long as we both shall live.
BRIDE
I Madison, take you, Chris, to be my Husband, for as long as we both shall live.

Closing Comments
To make your relationship work, it will take love. This is the core of your marriage and why you are here today.
● It will take trust, to know, that in your hearts, you truly want what is best for each other.
● It will take dedication, to stay open to one another - and to learn and grow together.
● It will take faith, to go forward together, without knowing exactly what the future brings.
● And it will take commitment, to hold true to the journey you both have pledged to today.
