Benediction

Romans 6:3–4 ESV
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
Easter Sunday is not only a remembrance of what Christ has done, but it is also a call. A call for us to live as heirs of the grace and glory of God, a reminder that we are to live as the salt and light in this world just as we shall live in eternity. We are to daily take up our cross and put to death our sin, so that by God’s resurrection power- the power that defeats sin and the result of sin which is death — we might live in new life and give praise and glory to God with great joy.
Thank you for joining us this morning. Let us go out from these halls with great singing and celebration in remembrance of what the Lord has done.
We are dismissed.
