Committed To Change
30 Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
(Finish Your Story) - There are life lessons we can take from this ugly scene of Calvary. That every word that was said and work that was done was for this purpose. Here is Christ showing how committed he was and is to change the relationship with man and God. Change how we see things, change how we see God.
Change brings about Challenges - Hunger challenged him , Blindness , deaf etc. Challenge by his own. Challenge by the religous groups. challenge by the adversary. For every oportunity there is opposition.
A stay the Course - Be consistent. Jesus was always about His fathers business. Opposition is not an Opportunity for another Option. Jesus teaches us we must stay the course.
Jesus would be despised and rejected (isaiah)
Yet, He lived a blemish and sinless life. He stayed on Course.
while weak and living on a empty stomach Offered the world. but stayed the course by living on every word that God has said.
This life is truly an obstacle course but it you can overcome it. Because It’s Finished. Because its been done before.
Change and Cheap -
Look at the price it took. Price that I was unwilling to pay, a price that I was able to pay. Real Change ain’t Cheap. The price of FREEDOM wasn’t FREE.
