The Seven Saying From The Cross

LUKE 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

To begin with I want to capture,claim, and cultivate this Gospel Message by saying Thank you Jesus. Everybody say Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus because You’ve brought us from a mighty mighty long way. Lord, You’ve been so good to us. You’ve been better to us than we’ve been to ourselves and I just want to say Thank You. Lord you deserve all the glory, all the honor and All the Praise, And the church said Amen.

Brothers and sisters Jesus did something wonderful and spectacular for us. He sacrificed Himself for the sins of the whole wide world. Jesus became the suffering servant and the ultimate atoning sanctified sacrifice.

And now Jesus is suffering on the cross, at Calvary. “Everybody say Calvary”. Calvary wasn’t no joke. The place literally looks like a human skull, and It stinks. It’s bloody and it’s filthy, and it’s where My Jesus is enduring an Ignominious, vicarious, and hideous death.

Jesus is suffering. And He says Father forgive them for they know not what they do!! And what’s worse is that Jesus has one thief on the left and another thief on the right. And Both of them are hardened criminals. But anybody can change…One of the thieves repented and said Lord Remember me when you come into your Kingdom. And I remember when that used to be me. But now my business is fixed with the Lord because One day when it’s His to call and mine to answer I want to be ready to go where Jesus’ Kingdom is. I want to hear the Lord say Today thou shalt be with Me in Paradios. And can I quickly tell us that in order to go to Paradise we have to be Regenerated we have to be Born Again.Jesus paid the price with His precious Blood.

And the bible says He that knew no sin became sin for the sins of the whole world.

Nobody is like Jesus. And certainly in these days and times we need Jesus. The city of Baton Rouge needs restoring, needs to be redeemed, and needs to be rededicated to the wholesome qualities of being a decent place to live, like it used to be. Amen.

Jesus believed in family and He told His Mother I hate for you to see me like this but then he looked at John and said take care of my mother when I’m gone. Family is important.

And then Jesus felt the Abandonment. Boy ain’t nothing worse than when your closest family and friends turn their backs on you. Jesus said Eli Eli Lama Sacbbachthani, My God My God, Why hast thou forsaken me. And the Father could not look at the sins being placed on “His Only! Begotten! Son! Lord have mercy 2x The bible says that the veil of the temple split right down the middle from top to bottom.

And now Jesus begins to say “I thirst”. In other words I’m looking for righteous folk, holy folk, saved folk, sanctified folk, full of the Holy Ghost folk, Because One day I’m coming back for my church that’s without a spot or a wrinkle. Jesus said I'm thirsty for Righteousness.

And the Roman Guards gave Jesus vinegar and Hyssop and when He drank foul, awful, nasty tasting vinegar, He said It’s Finished. Wait It’s Finished. The prophecy from before time ever began is being fulfilled. Because the bible says in Revelations that Jesus came as a Lamb that had been slain before the foundations of the world.

And Here is Jesus the Precious Lamb of God, the suffering servant saying Father It’s Finished. The job is done.3x

And I heard Jesus saying “ Father Into thine Hands I commend My Spirit. um um um.

And the bible says that Jesus hung His Head In the Locks of His shoulders and He died! Didn’t He die?

Oh Lord! Because Jesus Came down through 42 Generations to save mankind.

Can I tell you how He did it? Because

In Genesis Jesus is the seed of the woman

In Exodus He is the Passover Lamb. um um Yes

In Leviticus Jesus is High Priest.

In Deuteronomy He’s the True Prophet.

In Number Jesus is the She-kaina Glory Oh Lordy and

In Joshua Jesus is the Captain of our Salvation yes and

In Judges He’s the Uplifted One.

In Ruth He’s our Kinsman Redeemer

In Ezra and Nehemiah Jesus is our Restorer.

In Samuel Chronicles and Kings Jesus is the True King

In Psalms Jesus is our book of songs oh yes He is.

In Proverbs He’s our wisdom teaching us right from wrong.

In Ecclesiastes He’s the Lover of Our Souls.

In Isaiah Jesus is the Bridegroom who is coming back for His church one day.

In Jeremiah He’s JUST LIKE FIRE SHUT IN MY BONES Oh Lordy.

In Ezekiel Jesus is the Wheel in the Middle of the wheel. um um

In Daniel Jesus is the fourth man in the Fiery Furnace. Yes He took the heat out of the flames. oh yes He did.

In Hosea Jesus is the True Husbandman.

In Joel Jesus said I’ll pour out my spirit on all flesh. Lord” “pour out your spirit 2x

I’ve got to quit y’all but just before I go Is there anybody in here that Know that Jesus is the Rock ,,,, Shelter,,,, bridge,,, bread ,,, water,,,, Jesus is my Healer and you just wait until Sunday Morning Because He Died He died He died and

I’m so glad that Jesus is my Lord and my Savior.Yes Because He Saved my Souls MADE ME WHOLE PICK ME UP AND TURNED ME AROUND PUT MY FEET ON SOLID GROUND HEY HEY HEY LORD AIN’T HE ALRIGHT 3X
