The Crowd (Remove Him)

You didn’t come to overthrow the Romans
You came as a prophet
You have a reputation of a good man
But…
You didn’t come the way I wanted you so, “Good Riddance!” We claim victory!

The Church:Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes (Riddance/Rejected HIM)

You can’t be who you claim
You’re interfering in our traditions, legalism and practices
You can’t possibly be a prophet or the Messiah because we’re better than you
You’ve done plenty of works even though we believed of the Devil’s power so save yourself
You’re not my Messiah,
But…
Since you don’t value our traditions, sects and views we claim Victory! “Good Riddance!”

The Chosen: 11 Remaining Disciples (Reassurance was needed/Rebuked by all)

You can’t die
You are supposed to usher in the Kingdom…
You’ve done so many miracles, raised Lazarus, feed the multitudes, gave sight to the blind…
We’ve witnessed the Father endorse you
We saw you do victorious things….just don’t die!
They saw no victory but a personal lost to a prophesied promise

The Christ (Redemption/Restoration/Relationship)

He Fulfilled His Predestined purpose
He Fulfilled His earthly prophesies
He Refused to surrender to the vulnerable tendency of his human grief of the crucifixion
He remained steadfast through his shame of Cavalry demonstrating his
Forgiveness

Affection
While demonstrating victory over

The death of Christ demonstrates to submission to the will of the father
The death of Christ ensures I have redemption for a sin debt I can’t repay
