Historical Fun Facts:

The Bible describes how two women, both named Mary, went to the tomb on Sunday morning expecting the worst (seeing their friend Jesus’ dead body), but were shocked to find out that Jesus is alive.

Mary and Mary were so shocked by seeing the angels who told them about Jesus, the Bible tells us they were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground!

These wristbands are designed to change when you shine a light on them.

Jesus changes us when we let him in our lives.

Have each guest take wristband and glow stick

Instruct guests to hold out one hand.

Using their other hand, have guests make a fist and pound their hands as if nailing them.

They nailed Jesus’ hands and feet to a cross, where he died.

Have guests look at their wristbands and glow sticks

But Jesus overcame death.

Shine my flashlight on their wrist bands

Jesus loves us and changes us, like our wristbands change when we shine a light on them.

And our glow sticks change when we bend them

Jesus said he is God’s Son.

Some people didn’t believe him and wanted to put Jesus to death on a cross.

But Jesus overcame death.

Jesus is alive!

Jesus wants to be our forever friend.

When we invite Jesus into our lives, he changes us from the inside out.

Before guests leave, give them each a RUWJ Puzzle Piece.

Jesus is alive.

Then tell guests to go visit the other stations and collect the other Puzzle Pieces.
