Promise Of The Resurrection

Regarding Christ
John 10:17–18 NASB 2020
17 For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it back. 18 No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it back. This commandment I received from My Father.”
Regarding The Church
John 11:25–26 NASB 2020
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; the one who believes in Me will live, even if he dies, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee,

25 For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death. 27 For He has put all things in subjection under His feet. But when He says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is clear that this excludes the Father who put all things in subjection to Him.
1 Corinthians 15:55–57 NASB 2020
55 Where, O death, is your victory? where, O death, is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law; 57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Cited from Hosea 13:14
Hosea 13:14 NASB 2020
14 Shall I ransom them from the power of Sheol? Shall I redeem them from death? Death, where are your thorns? Sheol, where is your sting? Compassion will be hidden from My sight.

The Person Of The Resurrection

The one who has the proper authority and might is the one who calls the shots
The One who receives the glory is the one who dictates its demonstration
Those who are believers in the body of Christ have this as a great hope to follow in the footsteps of the savior
Romans 8:11 NASB 2020
11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

The Praise Of The Resurrection

The Accounts of Scripture through the Holy Spirit
The Gospel is a complete experience because of Christ Victory over the grave
1 Corinthians 15:1–8 NASB 2020
1 Now I make known to you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand, 2 by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. 3 For I handed down to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 After that He appeared to more than five hundred brothers and sisters at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; 7 then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles; 8 and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared to me also.
The testimony of our worship changes
I serve a risen savior, he’s in the world today. I know that He is living, no matter what men say. I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer, and just the time I need Him, He’s always near. (Verse one)
Rejoice, rejoice O’ Christian, lift up your voice and sing. Eternal Hallelujah, to Jesus Christ the King! The hope of all who seek Him, the help of all who find, None other is so loving, so good and kind. (Verse three)
He Lives! He Lives! Christ Jesus Live Today, He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way.
He Live!! He Lives! Salvation to impart! You ask me how I know he lives, He Lives, within my heart.
