I’m not there anymore

When I thought about this and I Prayed and asked God what will he have me to say, I Heard it so clearly , Joseph Tell the people I’m not there anymore. So I began to ponder on that thought. I had to think about what does it mean to not be in a place anymore.

After thinking and pondering I realized to not be in a place anymore means you have moved on. It means that you are not looking back but you are headed in a new direction. It means that something has transpired and you have shifted into a something else. You have moved redirected your attention to a new place. You have changed direction and are going somewhere else.

So with understanding that It made me ponder again. We see here that Jesus was killed on Friday and they took my savior and put him in a tomb. You see Jesus Understood that this was Just a Pitstop. He understood that he was on assignment and this wasn’t the end.

Well My brothers and my sisters we have all been called to follow christ. Just as Christ had the mentality to stay focus on his assignment we must too stay focus on our assignment.

You see if the truth be told the reason many of us today can’t say we are not there anymore is because we have aborted an abandoned our assignment. Yeah you know that we as born again believers have a duty and responsibility to be ministers of reconciliation. The bible tells us this in 2 Corinthians 5:18-20

2 Corinthians 5:18–20 NLT

And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”

Brothers and Sisters We are Ambassadors for christ we should be Letting a sinful World know about a Man Name Jesus Who can heal and Save our Sin sick Soul….

However too many believers in todays church have allowed people problems and Predicaments to keep us in a mentality to not fulfill the assignment that we have on our live which is to be Ambassadors for Christ. Yeah It’s not Just the Preacher or the Evangelist job to win Souls but we all should be Reconciling a dying world to a Living Savior. We Let our positions and our Status and how much money we have keep us from our assignment. Thats why many times we see ourselves in grave like situation because we have forgotten our assignment. We have been influenced by people places and things that have took our mind off our assignment… … We been influenced by others… …

You know those ones that say chyeee you ain’t got to go to church every Sunday you can come to brunch. Or the ones who are influencing you to stay home to watch your shows knowing you got prayer meeting and bible study …… We have been influenced by others and this influence is taking us away from our assignment.

Not only the influence of others but we too ourselves can be our main hinderance of why we cannot get out of our grave. The reason I say this is because many times as believers we get in a state of being comfortable. We get in the Mentality of be stagnant and not wanting to do what we have been called to do. You have to learn that Stagnation and comfortability will get you no where and will keep you in a grave in a cycle of Aborting what God has called you to do.

However Brothers and sisters I have Good news today. Yes there may be times that we fall victim to aborting our assignment , and letting influence from other and ourselves cause us to stay in a position or a predicament but church its something that believers have that others don’t. What we as believers have is God on our side. The Reason we can look at people places and things and say I’m not there anymore is because God is on our side. If God be For us than Who can be against us.

Brothers and Sisters we must realize and understand that if we have God on our side he Has Divine Authority. What I Love about God having divine authority is that since I am connected to Him I have authority as well. Many of us find ourselves in grave situations because we don’t realize the authority that we have down on the inside of us.

We have power too, to get out of our grave like situations but we must tap into what God has placed down on the inside of you. You can’t do this being comfortable but you got to be active and know that you have power down on the inside of you to come out of what you are facing. You have to shift your mindset and know that Greater is he that is within you than he that is in the World

You got to shift your mindset to know that You are more than a conquer through christ JESUS.

You have to shift your Mindset to know That You can do all things through Christ who Strengthens me.

You have to Shift your mindset to know that yeah I may get weak and weary but The bible says MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU, FOR MY POWER IS MADE PERFECT IN MY WEAKNESS.

Shift your mindset and change your mentality. I just want know is there anybody here thats going to change your mentality and understand the power and Authority you have down on the inside of you. You ought just look at somebody and tell them change your mentality.

So My Brothers and Sisters we know that Jesus is here in the grave. But ultimately God raises him from the dead and he is not there anymore. So I began to ask the Lord Why is he not there anymore. The Lord answered my question with 3 simple responses. So I want to share with you this morning what the Lord shared with me.

The First Reason Why I am not there any More is because of Gods Divine Power. We see here that it is was the Divine power that allowed Jesus to get out from the grave. Okay it says it here in the text. Matthew 28 2-5

Suddenly there was a great earthquake! For an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled aside the stone, and sat on it. His face shone like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow. The guards shook with fear when they saw him, and they fell into a dead faint. Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.

My brothers and sisters we see here in our text that the Power of God causes an Earthquake to happen not only that but he sent an angel to roll the stone away and the angel came so fast and it caused the guards to fall in a dead faint.

Church we see the divine power on display and thats all i come to tell you this morning is that If you are facing somethings God’s Divine Power will work on your behalf.

Okay Come here Abraham we know that you are old But I am going to give you a son even in your old age. He was well beyond the age to reproduce but The Divine Power was at Work and allowed Abraham to get his wife Sarah Pregnant.

Okay Y’all still didn’t catch it come here Moses I know you got a body of water in front of you and Pharaoh’s Army behind you but stretch out your Rod over the RED SEA. Gods Divine power was at work he caused the red sea to become a Highway and escape Pharaohs army.

Okay Y'all didn’t catch it come here David. David I know you are a small Shepard boy but I have a mission for you I want you to go take out the Giant Goliath. David didn’t go with all the equipment that other soldiers had but he went knowing thats Gods Divine Power would show up and he killed Goliath.

Okay Y'all Still didn't Catch it come here Daniel. Daniel was thrown in the Lions den but didn’t get scratched clawed or eaten but Gods divine power showed up and shut the jaws of the Lion.

Come here Hebrew Boys. They Got thrown in the Fiery Furnace But It was God’s divine power that allowed them to be in that furnace and not be burned or come out Smelling like smoke.

Okay come here church you know when that accident was suppose to take you out or that situation you was in felt like it was going to over take you but God stepped in Right on time. He showed up with his Divine power and protected you through what you you were going through.

And I Don’t know about you but I Need 5 people and I’ll Make 6 that can thank God for his Divine Power at work.

In addition, I’m not there anymore because of His Divine power and Secondly because of his Divine Proclamation. My Brothers and Sisters if your bible is still open or you still have your app up you can look in Verse 6 and you will see these words. Matthew 28:6

Matthew 28:6 NLT

He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying.

The Bible declares here that he has risen as he said he would. Church this shows me Gods Divine Proclamation. This is divine proclamation because he had already told us in John 10:18

John 10:18 NLT

No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily. For I have the authority to lay it down when I want to and also to take it up again. For this is what my Father has commanded.”

He Had already told us he was going to die but he told us that he was going to get back up again and thats what he did. So Brothers and sisters we can take take what God Proclaims at his Word.

For Gods Proclamation is He is not a Man that he should lie nor the son of man that he should repent if he said it he is going to do it.

Gods Proclamation Tells me That, The Lord is my Light and Salvation whom shall i Fear.

Gods Proclamation tells me Psalms 23 4-6

Psalm 23:4–6 NLT

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

Gods Proclamation Tells Me that They that Wait Upon the Lord he will Renew their strength they will Mount up on wings as eagles run and not be weary walk and not faint.

God’s Proclamation Tells Me that weeping may endure for a night but Joy is coming in the Morning.

Gods Proclamation tells me For I Reckon that the sufferings of this present time are worthy to the Glory that shall be revealed

God’s Proclamation tells me AND we know that all things work together for the Good of them Who Love the Lord and are called according to his Purpose.

Im sorry All im trying to tell you this morning is that when God Proclaims Something it will happen

Finally Brothers and Sister I am Not There Anymore because of Divine Power, Because of Divine Proclamation, and Lastly Because God has a Divine Purpose for your Life.

We see here in Matthew 28 8-9

Matthew 28:8–9 NLT

The women ran quickly from the tomb. They were very frightened but also filled with great joy, and they rushed to give the disciples the angel’s message. And as they went, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they ran to him, grasped his feet, and worshiped him.

The Text says Mary and Mary were running from the tomb and they ran into jesus and when they Got to him they fell down to his feet and worshipped him.

My Brothers and sisters I found out in my short time of living that Praise IS always in order and if you all know me, you know I love a Good Praise I Love to dance and shout but the Bible says We Must worship him in spirit and in truth.

But Church I found out that when we praise, We praise him for what he has done. But when you worship him you Worship him for Who he is. For we were Created to Worship and Our purpose in life if to Worship the Master. Well how do you worship him you worship him with Your Lifestyle because you know who he is.
