JESUS of NAZERETH IS ALIVE, SINCE HE IS ALIVE , WE CAN PUT OUR CONFIDENCE IN HIM.
ME: I usually have confidence in what I can see. If you tell me you are going to do something, i want to see evidence that you are doing it. I want to see mile markers. I want to know the plan. I want to see work going towards the plan.
I know most of you are like me. You have confidence in what you can see. If you are building a house and you have the vision for the house, but all of a sudden you aint seeing know progress…. If you are sending your child to a daycare or a school and they say they are going to educate them. You want to see some progress. If they aint learning nothing, you are going to take them out. Who just wants a babysitter? I can find one of those on my own. Your confidence is built up on what you can see.
However, our text today tells us something else entirely. That God works a different way. It’s the story of the apostle Thomas as he meets Jesus after he woke up from death.
That Hearing Jesus is Alive is will make you more Happy than Seeing Jesus Alive.

1. St. Thomas is Ignorant and cold and hasn’t been with his community….
(2) They tell him they “have seen the Lord” v. 25 It’s not good enough for Thomas.
(3) Jesus shows up the next Sunday walking through walls and says “Peace” and Touch Me.
“don’t disbelieve, but believe.”
(4) “My Lord and My God” He acknowledges that Jesus has an absolute right to command his life and that he is the God of the Universe. Thomas takes this and goes to India and spreads the gospel.
(5) Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.
