The Contrast Between Right and Wrong worship Isaiah 58:1-14

Even though Israel is “seeking” the Lord day after day, they are still transgressing against God. Isaiah 58:1-2

More important than going through the motions of fasting is caring for the poor and those in need. Isaiah 58:6-7

Observing the Sabbath should be a pleasure and showing one’s love for God, and even a love for His law. Isaiah 58:13-14

Jesus told us in the Gospels that “he who loves me will follow my commandments.” This speaks on the natural inclination of the believer to follow Jesus’ commandments.
