Question and answer as we do the series.

It's simple. Why were we created? What is worship? Why worship what is worship for and how do we worship? How do we do it? As you understand some of these questions or what causes churches to fight.

Some people think we should worship.

By being quiet and silent and sing it out of hymnals. Tell me what say we can have instruments. Some people say you can stand still but don't move there are many ways. So we're going to dive into all those different ways and questions but today We're going to dive into the first one. Why are we created? And the reason why were diving into it is because of this.

Worship is a by-product.

If I tell you A lot of times when we do is we we are focused on the by product and we're not focus on the main thing.

I love worshiping God. The point of where shop is the pour out love towards God.

It's not just the sing songs that's part of it. But that's not the main focus of focus is to share my love and adoration for who he is.

The question then comes to mind then what what what were we created for that?

I was driving to Genesis. Genesis 1 26 through 28 talks of why we were created eyes into why we were created.

I know it's a lot of times in church culture. We hear a lot like we were created to worship right, you guys heard that before?

I serve God you heard that one before. But what did your creators for as it is, very important the racks you understand how it works and why we do it.

Who created beloved? The number one thing we were created for was to be loved.

Until we understand that we don't worship.

I don't do the years they washed mom do this to when they got married have their own families, you know. Thanksgiving comes around what do you think they did? You're just doing it because it's everyone else does too.

Going to your benches and grab your head nose, and you guys are all seeing you may have been one of the far out ones that had an organ. But that was about all you got. And they started like making music. I want to come to the church and be like, yeah, we love Jesus too. But can we please liven it up a little bit because the expression of my heart to God demands expression.

That's really a man. And so what happened with some of the churches got an ill word, we don't want that others invited and they were playing music and instruments and do the whole atmosphere what we thought was worship change because let me tell you the truth.

many times It's until you have an encounter with God you don't worship. Many times may I promise you many people are just sitting by doing the same two steps without knowing calendar. I'm not beating you up. I'm just being real. And there's no encounter with God. You're just doing it and everyone else is around you doing so you feel good to be kind of in the mix. But you're totally missing out on him. It's not just good enough to be in the mix. You got to be mixed by him.

You got to get him here to wear when you're when you're when you're expressing yourself to God. You don't care who's around you. Know how you know it's not worth it because we're so focused on what everyone else thinks.

I feel what we end up doing instead of worshipping God is allowing love to have his way through us and in us we're performing so the other person doesn't think we're weird.

And their worship is an expression of what of their hearts for him. So we were work. We were created to be loved and frumpy in love. We understand. We were created to be known and that no means to be understood. I don't know about you, but it's nice to be understood. Are you guys agree? You were created so that God could express our love to you. That's why you were created.

In 2016 our daughter got sick and she was diagnosed with a very rare form of liver cancer was terminal and we prayed that God would heal her supernaturally, but for whatever reason that didn't happen and she just before she passed she was on hospice in our living room. She was in a hospital bed in the living room and she was talking and I wasn't there but my wife was there and she said to her who are you talking to and She said the cab driver told me that Jesus loves me and that he will take care of me. That was what she said and Ellen said to her. Are you going somewhere and she said yes, I'm going home. She's very serious. And this was the day before she died. And so she died the next evening. At 1 in the morning. And of course we were heartbroken. And she had told the nurse the week before that. She said I know that yours you think I'm going to die. She said, but I'm still expecting God to heal me. and so after we had the bought the Undertaker came and took her body away, she called my mother about 3 in the morning, and I said that she passed and I told my mother that story of you know, how Julie said that the cab driver told her and we kind of laughed and said so we figure she's going to Heaven by taxi, but

So she told that story to my sister the next morning before she went to work and my sister went and told the school teachers that she teaches with this and this teacher says to her who we don't know she knew about Julie because they had been praying for her, but we didn't know her at all and she said the school teacher said you're not going to believe this on my way to work this morning.

We are I got behind a white van was all white and she said she thought it was an Amish taxi van. And she said the license plate said Ms. Wilson.

You know and was that God doing something for Julie know that was God giving assign Supernatural side, cuz it that low that won't fit on a license plate. I looked it up. So that was God giving her a vision for us. But in the next morning after you know, we went to we went to bed and were able to sleep actually and We I had a text message next morning from our dear friends Jamie of getting rich and she said we have been up since 2 in the morning praying for you. And she said my daughter came and woke us at 2, but Julie died at 1:50 and pop. The guy I talked to Candice her daughter as a what woke her up later that week and she said I had a vision she said it was you in the vision it was you and Julian Angel the room. She's I don't know why you don't want wasn't in that Vision, but she said she thought it was just you and Julie. Well, I want had gotten up and gone to the bathroom just before Julie died. And so, you know God moved in the Supernatural ways. Not for Julie State. Julie was already with him, but was for us and loved us so much. He gave us comfort and peace and confidence even though we already believed. But God did things for us that were he went he went way above and beyond for us. That's how much God loves us.
