Living stones (2)

1 Peter 2:5 “And you yourselves, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”

Departed to the east - Ezekiel 11:23 “And the glory of Yahweh went up from the midst of the city, and it stood still on the mountain that is to the east of the city.”

A prophecy of the return from the east Ezekiel 43:4 “And then the glory of Yahweh came to the temple by the way of the gate facing east.”

Prophecy fulfilled - Mark 11:1 “And when they came near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples”

Living stone not cut stone - 1 Peter 2:5 “And you yourselves, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”

You are the temple - 1 Corinthians 3:11–16 “For no one is able to lay another foundation than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds upon the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, grass, straw, the work of each one will become evident. For the day will reveal it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the work of each one, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work that he has built upon it remains, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but so as through fire. Do you not know that you are God’s temple and the Spirit of God dwells in you?”
