R. C. Sproul

R. C. Sproul
Knowing that any suffering experienced by believers is part of God’s overall sovereign plan provides its own comfort.
John F. MacArthur
God is in control, but in His control He allows us to experience pain. The pain is very real. We hurt, we suffer. But in the midst of our suffering we must believe that God is in control; that He is sovereign.
Jerry Bridges
