1. Principle of wisdom Will bring you success in any area you apply it. Proverbs 3:13-18 Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding; For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies, And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her. Length of days is in her right hand, In her left hand riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, And all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, And happy are all who retain her. Wisdom defined: the ability to apply knowledge properly The primary difference between the two words is that wisdom involves a healthy dose of perspective and the ability to make sound judgments about a subject while knowledge is simply knowing. Anyone can become knowledgeable about a subject by reading, researching, and memorizing facts. ... Wisdom is knowing when to say it.” People with great IQ aren’t necessarily endowed with wisdom. I recently shut down our church for 13 weeks -I would never have done it if I didn’t have to take in consideration so many factors 2 types of wisdom. Spiritual and natural wisdom. Building wisdom 1.general knowledge -a steady and constant learner. -wisdom feeds off of knowledge -people of great wisdom are constantly learning -get around people that are going where you want to and listen to them. 2.attitude or filter. (Bible). Spirit. -Mosler filter -%94 of my decisions in my life have been made for me already. -is the Bible your filter. -James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. -asks of God implies prayer. Wisdom is of the spirit 3.specific wisdom in a field of study. (Natural wisdom) -when I was logging there was a whole set of whistles that the rigging slinger would blow to the tower operator. I never did learn them totally because I was up on the landing chasing. -learning what they meant and how they sound was great but if I didn’t know when and when not to blow them it could have been a disaster Proverbs 27:23-24 Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, And attend to your herds; For riches are not forever, Nor does a crown endure to all generations. 1.fund out what you have to do and do it 2.get to know the people you have to deal with. Coworkers , bosses, clients 3.find out everything there is to know about the company your serving. It’s requirements, products and needs and know it well. —A businessman who wanted to expand his business to Indonesia -He arrived at the airport I left a message for a future client and said I have rented VIP room bring your wife and meet me and will talk business. I have to leave at 5:30 1.In Indonesia its protocol to not summon them but you go to them 2.never invite family members to business deals 3.not considered polite to discuss business at first meeting 1. Same what time you have to leave it’s considered offensive; it sends the message that my time is more important than yours. Wisdom is not how to build something per say but what to do at the right time. Proverbs 1:20-33. ( Rejection of wisdom ) here’s wisdom speaking to you Wisdom calls aloud outside; She raises her voice in the open squares. She cries out in the chief concourses, At the openings of the gates in the city She speaks her words: “How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge. Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you. Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded, Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. “Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me. Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the LORD, They would have none of my counsel And despised my every rebuke. Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, And be filled to the full with their own fancies. For the turning away of the simple will slay them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them; But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil.”
The law of vision (overall view) Habakkuk 2:2-3 Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. Vision is: Where do we want to be on the future and how do we want to be known? Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law. Proverbs 29:18 When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful. Proverbs 29:18 If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed. Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]—blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he. Healthy balance: Proverbs 15:16-17 Better is a little with the fear of the LORD, Than great treasure with trouble. Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, Than a fatted calf with hatred. 1.Personal -weight -invest in yourself -Billy Epperhart gets asked , I have $5000 to invest somewhere. His response is to invest in yourself 2.Spiritual -one year challenge. All out for God 3.Social -I’ll let you figure that out. -don’t always seek friends but be around people that are going where your going and friendship will arise 4.Family -vacations -time together etc 5.Financial -I’ve not done well in this area. I always just try and do a great job and then look at the fruit. -I’m not a balanced individual. “ no balanced man has ever changed history” I’m kind of bored with most things unless it interests me. Failure is not to be used to describe a person but a situation. Is a matter of fact your failure and success are two sides to the same coin, you have both at the same time. To carry out vision you need 3 ingredients 1.Dreaming or imagination Acts 2:17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. -I always dream big -the consequences of that life are disappointment -the greatest in your life is yet to come. -I don’t think it’s any secret that I’m on the backside of my career. -but when your a visionary I will have to build something 2.Tad bit of courage Joshua 1:6-9 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” -courage is not bungee jumping. Courage is risk your life savings to start a business -what do you need to be courageous about? -are you willing to risk fir something you believe in. -foolish risk or Calculated 3.Some boldness Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion. -a mental state of acting when you believe in when you believe in what your doing. “Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal”Henry Ford ———————————————————————————- The law of focus 4. Each law has a scripture attached that brings a promise of increase Intro: your vision is a snapshot of the future but we all need the power of focus to get there. 1 Corinthians 9:26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. -My story with A friend. Put your hand to do something else or concentrate on doing what your doing better. Matthew 13:45-46 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. 1.Focus says no to other things John 12:23-26 But Jesus answered them, saying, “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor. -no is a very great word. -someone said at the beginning of your ministry/business the word yes will be important at the end of your ministry/business the word no that will be important -what do you have to say no to today? -10 lbs is causing me to say no to chocolate peanut butter ice cream -you might have to say no to TV, other business opportunities, etc -success demands sacrifice!!! 2.Set your mind. Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 3.Focus = Faith James 1:6-8 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. -anything in my life that I’ve applied this has been a success -if I can keep it long enough I won’t fail. ———————————————————————————- Part 5, law of planning. He who fails to plan is planning to fail. Proverbs 21:5 The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, But those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty. Luke 14:28-32 For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it— lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish’? Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. Matthew 25:1-13 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. In our lives and business there are 3 overall levels of planning 1.long term 2.a week, month, year 3.weekly, and daily. Psalms 20:4 May he give you what your heart desires, and may he fulfill all your plans. SWOT 1.My strengths -what do we do well 2.My weaknesses -what’s are flaws and weaknesses holding me/we back 3.Opportunities -what helps us get ahead -people I need -education I need 4.Threats -What external difficulties are holding you back -what circumstances are holding you back Matthew 25:1-12 Chapter 25 The Parable about the Ten Bridesmaids "At that time, the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten bridesmaids who took their oil lamps and went out to meet the groom. Now five of them were foolish, and five were wise, because when the foolish ones took their lamps, they didn't take any oil with them. But the wise ones took flasks of oil with their lamps. Since the groom was late, all of them became sleepy and lay down. "But at midnight there came a shout: 'The groom is here! Come out to meet him!' Then all the bridesmaids woke up and got their lamps ready. But the foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out!' But the wise ones replied, 'No! There will never be enough for us and for you. You'd better go to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.' "While they were away buying it, the groom arrived. Those who were ready went with him into the wedding banquet, and the door was closed. Later the other bridesmaids arrived and said, 'Lord, lord, open up for us!' But he replied, 'I tell you with certainty, I don't know you!' Preparation is the keys to lasting success If we plan it tells us our focus. Many businesses are not reopening in this season. And for that I’m truly sorry but if there was a strategic plan to develop reserves we’d have a different story. ———————————————————————————- Part 6. The law of work (The force of work) Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. Romans 8:1-2 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. -operating in this will cause you to walk with God and no outside force can stop you -if I come to Jesus and believe then this law duly set in motion by God protects me from Hell. -God is the author of spiritual law. -a law has no respecter of persons. Biblical law doesn’t take in consideration your upbringing, your divorce times, your prison sentence. -it doesn’t matter your family heritage -it doesn’t matter your color of skin Part 6. The law of work (The force of work) Proverbs 14:23 In hard work there is always profit, but much chattering can lead to poverty. 3 frogs on a leaf and one of them decides to jump in the water. How many frogs on the leaf? Most mistakes in life are not caused by bad decisions but inaction out of fear. Work involves 2 aspects. 1.study 2.labor I’m not referring to punching a time clock but I am talking about effort or action. If all we want to accomplish in your life is to avoid pain and struggle that we will be most miserable. 15 an hour or 10 Fast success without a price paid can lead to trouble People who gain things by dishonest gain generally don’t hang onto it Proverbs 13:11 Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away, but whoever works diligently increases his prosperity. 1.Confidence -Whether you think you can or think you can’t- you’re right. -confidence in what your doing. -I’m into Realestate because I believe in it. I won’t sell somebody something that they don’t want 2.Dedication Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going. -most people do as little as possible. Colossians 3:23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, Ecclesiastes 11:6 In the morning sow your seed, And in the evening do not withhold your hand; For you do not know which will prosper, Either this or that, Or whether both alike will be good. 3.Persistence -Hannibal the conqueror of Rome “I shall find a way or make one” Ecclesiastes 10:10 If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed, but skill will bring success. -“I have to file” Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 4.Overcoming Obstacles Proverbs 14:4 Where no oxen are, the trough is clean; But much increase comes by the strength of an ox. Look at my boss I’m working and he’s playing -my church and ministry William Arthur Ward “The pessimist complains about the wind, Optimus hopes that it changes, the realist set his sail. —————————————————————————— The law of courage Proverbs 24:10 If you falter in a time of trouble, how small is your strength! The law of courage speaks to your willingness to take risks Matthew 25:14-30 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents. And likewise he who had received two gained two more also. But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money. After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’ “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents. For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ I wonder how often these guys suffered loss but wound up making a profit in the end Ecclesiastes 10:8-9 Whoever digs a pit may fall into it; whoever breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake. Whoever quarries stones may be injured by them; whoever splits logs may be endangered by them. -in other words. There’s always a possibility that you may loose. , Calculated risk. Not foolish Sometimes you have to move swiftly and sometimes you have to move cautiously. Don’t mistake fear for the Holy Spirits voice You don’t jump off a cliff in two jumps Ralph Waldo Emerson “I skating over thin ice, safety is in our speed. You should never take a risk in which you could lose more than you can win 1.You have counted the cost 2.You’ve reduced the risk as much as possible When I became a landlord I said the worst possible case. 3.Back up plan .Anais Nin “Life shrinks or expands In proportion to one’s courage” ——————————————————————————— The law of resilience Revelation 2:26 To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations— The principle is lasting = authority Paul Stoltz came up with the term advesirty quotient Why some make it and some don’t IQ intelligence quotient EQ emotional quotient AQ adversity quotient 3 categories 1.Quitters -People who are risk averse. Not willing to risk at all. -They are comfort zone people. -they started on a long journey but it only lasted a few months weeks or years 2.Campers -started off on the climb but it got extremely hard and so they justified that they’re climb was enough. -I’m just done. I tried this thing and I’ve watched people put I’m done. 3.Climbers (i generally see people in this category) -People that enjoy the journey and aren’t afraid of obstacles. They kind of enjoy a good fight. -2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. The law of resilience is simply learning how to deal with adversity. In life if your going to be a success you’ll play hurt. Not getting paid when staff did. Being disliked by many because you good for something. The line of my critics is long. Yell loud. As a leader of many I will be respected and loved hopefully but I will never be pitied Psalm 23 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. Claus Moller “When the winds of change blow, some build shelters and feel secure; others build with windmills and get rich Horace “ adversity has the effect of eliciting talents which in prosperous circumstances would have laid dormant” Epicurus “ The great navigators owe the reputations to showers and storms” ———————————————————————————- The law of joy Philippians 2:14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Emotions are a funny thing. You have to put an ending date on negative ones or they can last a lifetime. Ephesians 4:26 “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, Neh 8:10 the Joy of the Lord is your strength -it’s his joy working in you. If your adversity can steal your joy he has a foothold into your life. 1 Corinthians 10:6-10 Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.” Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell; nor let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents; nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer. Mark 6:1-6 Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him. And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands! Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.” Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching. Psalms 78:40-41 How often they provoked Him in the wilderness, And grieved Him in the desert! Yes, again and again they tempted God, And limited the Holy One of Israel. To learn joy in the midst of trouble is one of the most powerful forces on earth. Joy in trouble is supernatural. You have to put joy on. ———————————————————————————- Law of recharging Exodus 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. Religious bondage. The last day I would take would be Sunday. These were people coming out of slavery for 100’s of years and God set some very strict rules to help them. We’re not in bondage to a day but we should be to the concept. The Bible even had land not planted on the seventh year to let the land rest. Notice: most of us now complain about a 5 day work week. Someone said we should take that extra day and turn it into a career Rest Is up to you. Kenneth Hagin would study all night. And sleep till late morning Albert Einstein used to sleep 10 hours a day and slept for an hour when he had a new idea Leonardo Divinci used to wake up early, the reserve 15 minutes every two hours for a nap. This way he was able to face challenges with a fresh mind. Whenever I’m working on a project I always reserve my mornings when my mind is fresh to come up with ideas. 1.find a time each day to stop and listen. -creativity -on purpose be grateful. 2.physical activity -it helps release endorphins that are a natural stimulant and anti depressant -I play golf. It’s my outlet. 1. Once a month have a special day with your family -zoo with smaller kids 1. Once a year go on a vacation. -Panama cruise -Camping at Cougar camp ground. I’ll be honest with you, Golf is my outlet. ——————————————————————————— Ouch stuff The law of self hiring. Proverbs 20:6 Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, But who can find a faithful man? Proverbs 20:6 Lots of people claim to be loyal and loving, but where on earth can you find one? Proverbs 20:6 Many will say they are loyal friends, but who can find one who is truly reliable? Proverbs 20:6 Most men make no secret of their kind acts: but where is a man of good faith to be seen? Would you hire yourself or be in business with you ? The more successful people are the less TV people watch. They spend a lot of time being devoted and preparation Business owners say it’s hard to find real good employees Workers are saying its hard to find a good job. Jim Rohn “Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments” Are you out there doing your best with what God has for you. You will work for someone at sometime. You’ll ream what you sow. Luke 16:10-12 He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's, who will give you what is your own? 1.faithful in what is least 2.faith in what's another mans 3.faith in the way you deal with money * You have to take personal responsibility for the contribution to the team * This is what we'll call doing things that know one sees * Picking up garbage * Stopping gossip ——————————————————————————— The law of honesty (matters of the heart) Exodus 20:15-17 “You shall not steal. “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.” Don’t steal Don’t lie Don’t covet Questions to ask ourselves, 1.Is it illegal ? 2.If someone had a camera on me now how would that work out ? 3.If others did the same to you how would you feel? 4.Would your transaction be the same if you were dealing with a loved one ? 5.Is someone experiencing loss as a result of my profit? You reap what you sow. It’s not in your benefit. Isaiah 10:1-2 “Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, Who write misfortune, Which they have prescribed To rob the needy of justice, And to take what is right from the poor of My people, That widows may be their prey, And that they may rob the fatherless. The guy that lied to his clients or creditors about his dad dying. Woe is not good. I need to get rid of that car... you don’t expose problems -nothing wrong with getting rid of a car because it’s old. People take a risk when they buy it. But to put something together long enough to hid it that’s another thing. Proverbs 20:17 Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man, But afterward his mouth will be filled with gravel. Warren Buffet: 3 criteria for hiring good people. Integrity, intelligence and energy. If you don’t have the first the other two will kill you. -if you hire someone with lack of integrity you definitely want them dumb and lazy To succeed you need honesty , competence and hard work If a man will cheat at Golf he will cheat on his wife. Stan F My wife and Ikea. Went all the way over there trying to give something back we didn’t pay for. The cashier gave her no bells and whistles. Nobody would know Matthew 5:37 But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. If your Word is no good then your no good. In this natural world it’s bad but also in the spiritual world. Don’t fool yourself. You want to cheat and then speak the Word after years of your mouth lying then you try (emphasis on trying) to speak to mountainside have them move. If I need to move a mountain my integrity will be ready. Not perfect obviously. Maybe that’s when we cry out for mercy.
