Ministry in Galilee

Luke 4:14–15 CSB

Then Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread throughout the entire vicinity. He was teaching in their synagogues, being praised by everyone.

Where did Jesus return from?

What was happening there?

Galilee?

In the Power of the Spirit - WHY

He had just has a massive battle with Satan. It was a spiritual battle in the midst of a physical trial. When he was at his weakest, he leaned on the WORD of GOD - the Scriptures - and was victorious.

NOW He is FULL of the power of the SPirit! Because of the victory and because of the Spirit living inside of Him.

That is the same power we have! The Spirit of God.

But we get to these spiritual battles, and we get drained. Exhausted. And then we get defeated. WHY?

The answer is clear: we are not leaning on the WORD OF GOD! Go back and look at the words of Jesus.

Luke 4:4 CSB

But Jesus answered him, “It is written: Man must not live on bread alone.”

But I am TIRED, WORN OUT, WEAK - MAN must not live on bread alone!
