“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
We are honored today to dedicate all of these beautiful childen to the Lord.

Today
Today is a time both of offering back to God what he has privileged and blessed us with in these children,
and of vowing to fulfill his command found in the afore quoted scripture and
Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it.
This is a very joyous occasion.
We follow in the steps of Christ himself in presenting these children to the lord as recorded in Luke 2:22
And when the time came for their purification according to the Law of Moses, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord
