Look at what Jesus said His ministry is
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed, To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.”
Jesus says He wants us to Go and do likewise!
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.

“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth...
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
Jesus wants us to Go and preach the Gospel and the Holy Spirit will help us.
Jesus wants us to help release those who are captive to sin and the Holy Spirit will help us.
Jesus wants us to shine the light of truth to those blinded by sin and the Holy Spirit will help us.
Jesus wants us to set free those who are oppressed by sin and the Holy Spirit will help us.
Jesus wants us to tell people that now is the time to receive the grace and favor of God and the Holy Spirit will help us.

Pray with me:
Jesus, help me to Go and share your Good News with others.
Jesus, help me to shine Your truth into the darkness.
Jesus, show me how I can help the weak and help those held captive by sin.
Lord Jesus, I want to be obedient and Go where you want me to go.
Holy Spirit give me the strength to do what Jesus is calling me to do.
