The Four Options and One Choice of All Christians
There are always four basic options, but only one choice to any situation, challenge, trial or obstacle.
1. God can spatially, materially, physically, or psychologically take away and/or the obstacle, challenge, or danger.
2. God can spatially, materially, physically, or psychologically modify or transform the obstacle, challenge, or danger into something less challenging or dangerous.
3. God can spatially, materially, physically, or psychologically modify or transform the Christian to be able to withstand and/or conquer the obstacle, master the challenge, or defeat the danger.
4. God can spatially, materially, physically, or psychologically take the Christian away temporarily and/or permanently to heaven to be with God and/or remove the trial, challenge, or obstacle temporarily and/or permanently.
However, the only real choice that mature Christians should have is to let God choose the option God knows is best for them because God will do so anyway. We can trust God and dwell within God's perfect Shalom and Sovereignty or we can foolishly fight God and God's best choice for us and lose the battle. God will simply make us retake the sanctifying trial or journey again to learn what God desires us to learn. We are sanctified by our obedience in doing what God wants us to do and to be (1 Peter 2:22a-b)
