The Cross was not an accident, not a "oopsies" moment, nor a "plan b." The Cross was always the plan to save sinners and the Gospel requires that God plan ahead of time the mocking, scourging and execution of His Son on Calvary's cross. If not, then there is no Gospel and our hope is in vain.
