I’m His!

Theme: I’m His!

Goal: To teach and remind the students of San Diego Academy that they are God’s! Scripture gives various descriptions of God’s people, and we are going to discover 5 this week! The Students of San Diego Academy will know who they are in Jesus :)

Audience: Elementary and Junior High

Length: 10-15 minutes each message.

Day 1: I’m His Friend

We all have friends! We enjoy our hanging out with our friends and building our relationship with them. In the same way, we are friends of God.

Main Text: John 15:15.

Day 2: I’m His Sheep

We all are being led. We like games like follow the leader or Simon says. In our lives, we follow different things. But God wants to lead us! The Bible describes God as a Shepherd, and we are His Sheep.

Main Text: Psalm 23

Day 3: I’m His Light

We all want to make a difference in this world. We would like to make a positive impact in our communities. God wants us to shine our light in all the world! This is what God calls us!

Main Text: Matthew 5:14-16

Day 4: I’m His Home

Home is one of the most beloved places. It has smells, tastes, and experiences. There is comfort and memories in a home. The Bible makes this awesome claim that we are God’s Home (temple)!

Main Text: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Day 5: I’m His Child

This is the pinnacle of our identity. At the very depths of our being, we are children of God. This implies that we are royalty and divine. To know who you are is to know whose you are. We are His children!
