I glazed over the end of Chapter 11 due to the fact it is a large chapter, 45 verses.
Let’s due look at Daniel 11:36-45
Daniel 11:36–45 NKJV
36 “Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. 37 He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. 38 But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. 39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. 40 “At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. 41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels. 44 But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. 45 And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him.
Tonight, we look at the most heinous bipolar force to the things of God outside of Satan himself and he is referred to as the Antichrist.

His Character

Daniel 11:36–39 NKJV
Many times we read in the word of God of people or persons who chose to do their own will and in all cases, it is never a good ending.
Judges 17:6 “6 In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.”
Judges 21:25 “25 In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.”
We read specifically these words in other parts of Daniel.
It was said of Nebuchadnezzar:
Daniel 4:35 “35 All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him, “What have You done?””
Persia
Daniel 8:4 “4 I saw the ram pushing westward, northward, and southward, so that no animal could withstand him; nor was there any that could deliver from his hand, but he did according to his will and became great.”
Greece
Alexander the Great
Daniel 11:3 “3 Then a mighty king shall arise, who shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.”
Antiochus III
Daniel 11:16 “16 But he who comes against him shall do according to his own will, and no one shall stand against him. He shall stand in the Glorious Land with destruction in his power.”
And here we find a leadership worse than has ever been encountered.
The Antichrist
Listen to me dear brother and sister, Charisma, the Antichrist will have charisma and win people over. Inteligence, smarts He will have the confidence of the people. His character will be evil and he will have political clout. He will have a very negative influence in his day.
He will be the epitome of atheism and will think he can lead sufficiently with out God.
2 Thessalonians 2:4 “4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”
Revelation 13:6 “6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.”
Even though he appears to be an atheist, he will use religion to manipulate and gain power. Rev. 17.
He will say unheard of things about God and Jesus. Listen to me. I have heard some of the most heinous filthy mouths there is over my years, but we will never hear anything as disrespectful of God or blasphemous of God as he will say. Daniel 7:8 “8 I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.”
Daniel 7:11 “11 “I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame.”
Daniel 7:20 “20 and the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up, before which three fell, namely, that horn which had eyes and a mouth which spoke pompous words, whose appearance was greater than his fellows.”
Revelation 13:5–6 “5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.”
