1. How did Peter get into heaven if he denied Jesus?
Despite Peter denying his connection to Christ in the face of the crowd, he was restored by Jesus and re instructed (which he accepted) to follow Christ.
John 21:15–19 (KJV 1900)
So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
2. So if a believer has a spouse that doesn’t believe, what does it mean that they are sanctified through their husband or wife?
To be sanctified means to be set a part for a purpose. An unbelieving spouse has the ability to receive a lesser and temporal distribution of favor and blessings due to their believing spouse, this does NOT indicate that they are “saved”.
For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.
For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?
3. Pagan holidays i.e., Valentine’s Day, Christmas
