2 Kings 9:30

And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window. And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Had Zimri peace, who slew his master? And he lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? And there looked out to him two or three eunuchs. And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down:and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses:and he trode her under foot. And when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and bury her:for she is a king's daughter. And they went to bury her:but they found no more of her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of her hands. Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the Lord, which he spake to his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel: And the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel.

Jezebel

Jezebel was the daughter of Ethbaal, the king of the Zidonians, and the wife of Ahab, the king of Israel. This was the "first time in history that a king of Israel had taken to himself by marriage a heathen princess.

Jezebel has stamped her name on history as the representative of all that is malicious, revengeful, and cruel. She is the first great instigator of persecution against the people of God. Guided by no principle, restrained by no fear of either God or man, passionate in her attachment to her heathen worship, she had no restraints in idolatry.

Four hundred and fifty prophets ministered under her care to Baal, besides four hundred prophets of the groves.

We have the enemy outnumbered

As intimidating as it may be that Jezebel had 400 prophets. There had been 7000 prophets of God whose knees had not bowed to Baal.

The ratio was 7000 to 400.

400 had backslidden but 7000 were still in he church.

7000 that said we're not gonna bow to secular culture.

Spirit of Compromise

Israel was being seduced into carnality, their worship to God had been polluted. And the source was a woman that found her way in covenant with the people of God by the lustful and fleshly desires of a compromising king called Ahab.

The Spirit of the Lord revealed to me- This spirit is having its way among my people because my people continue to entertain her.

It's time to confront Jezebel.

We find the reason to the success of this spirit in the New Testament in the book of :

Rev 2:18 & 19

And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

The word sufferest means to permit, to allow, or to let.

to allow one to do as one wishes, not to restrain, to let alone.

See the Devil doesn't mind as long as we just have church and never deal with Jezebel.

Mandate

Elisha called for one of the children of the prophets to anoint a young captain over the army of Israel a man of war by the name of Jehu. (Preach No name prophet, no name king)

God established a judgement upon Jezebel through the prophet Elisha

God confirmed it through Elisha

But when God was ready to execute the Judgment he did it through a king called Jehu.

What we know about Jehu-

A no name individual with pedigree. Just available to do something for God- - -

We have become a personality based apostolic movement.- -

But what God is about to do in this generation has nothing to do with personalities or pedigree it has everything to do with a calling.

Jehu wasn’t an Elijah, He wasn’t and Elisha. He never followed an Elijah to end of his ministry to receive the Elder’s Mantle. Jehu was anointed privately by a messenger He never received a Mantle, Jehu received a Mandate, and a mission .

And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah: And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her. And he opened the door, and fled.

Jehu's mission was to confront a Spirit that plagued Israel. He was sent on a mission to slay Jezebel and all the house of Ahab.

Jehu was not like Elijah, he was not an Elisha but he was anointed for his time. (Preach)

Jehu was a "furious" rider! He rode his chariot hard! He was the old school version of "The Fast and The Furious."

Revelation of the two main weapons of the enemy against this generation

And it came to pass, when Joram the son of Jezebel, saw Jehu, that he said, Is it

, Jehu? And Jehu answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms (adultery, fornication, prostitution) of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts (sorcery)are so many? A very special and dear young lady I know went to a holiday youth convention at the beginning of the year. Beautiful girl, sweet spirit. She said I feel a call of God for deeper ministry. She came back full of the Holy Ghost. She began her group prayer meetings, bible studies. So proud of her. Few months later she is still on fire. But her parents called me she's possessed with a devil! What? Yes we haven't gotten sleep in days she's speaking other languages, swearing, something has got a hold of her! How can this be? A Holy Ghost filled person can't be possessed with devils... Or so I was taught.

What's been going on? She became rebellious to authority, her parents.

Rebellion is as the sin of Witchcraft. The enemy uses the window of rebellion to destroy many young people.

The problem is we Allow witchcraft in when we become rebellious. Our Culture sits at the Window and tells us to do whatever you want to do. My body, My life.

What ? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost?

I want to preach to a group young people today that I believe God is raising up to be a JEHU generation!

A generation of young people who are not afraid to confront old spirits of Jezebel.

We need some Jehu's that are not afraid to storm the gates of Jesreel,

Ceasarea was one of the most sinful and pagan places in Palestine. A Temple was built there to worship Caesar that alone was blapsheme to the Jews. But there was also another temple built to worship a greek God Pan. Right next to the temple was a crack in the ground where they thought to be the place where dead spirits woud go to Hades (hell). Caesarea was a place where witchcraft prevailed.

It was literally the gates of hell. It was the same place where Jesus Gave the revelation of who he was.It was that same spot of Ground that Jesus Said to his disciples upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of Hell Shall not prevail against the Church.

Jamieson, Faussett and Brown Commentary states that this was literally, "her eyes," according to a custom in the East among women, of staining the eyelids with a black powder made of a lead ore mixed with oil, and applied with a small brush on the border, so that by this dark ligament on the edge, the largeness as well as the luster of the eye itself was thought to be increased. Her object was, ....by her attire, to over awe and seduce Jehu.

Notice her persistence in attempting to seduce the prophet even at the point of death.

2)But Her seduction will not succeed. Against a furious spirit.

Jehoiada Restores the Worship of God

17And Jehoiada made a covenant between the LORD and the king and the people, that they should be the LORD'S people; between the king also and the people. 18And all the people of the land went into the house of Baal, and brake it down; his altars and his images brake they in pieces thoroughly, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of the LORD. 19And he took the rulers over hundreds, and the captains, and the guard, and all the people of the land; and they brought down the king from the house of the LORD, and came by the way of the gate of the guard to the king's house. 21Seven years old was Jehoash when he began to reign.

Intro -(Context)Athaliah, Wicked Queen of Judah

Athaliah was the daughter of King Ahab of Israel . King Ahab was a corrupt ruler who led the people of Israel into the false worship of Baal and other idolatrous practices. He married a foreign woman named Jezebel and supported her while she promoted pagan religions in the nation of Israel. Athaliah learned a lot from both of her parents, but the ruthlessness that she displayed during her life could probably be attributed to her mother, Jezebel. Queen Athaliah forced her way on the throne of Judah and ruled the land for six years.

The Queen of Judah was a Wicked Ruler

King Jehoram (Son of Jehosaphat- a good king) married Queen Athaliah and became associated with the family of Ahab. Once Athaliah became his wife she encouraged Jeroham to continue in the ways of her parents.

The Ruthless Queen Athalia

A military commander by the name of Jehu was sent by God to kill off the royal line of Ahab. Jehu carries out God’s orders and destroyed most of Ahab’s family including Athaliah’s husband Jeroham and her son King Ahaziah.

Once her son had passed away Athaliah decided to kill off the rest of the royal line so that no one could claim any right to rule. And, Apparently, it didn’t matter if the people she was killing was her children, grandchildren and relatives. So, After she carried out this wicked deed she now became the undisputed Queen of Judah.

There is a Spirit of Athaliah That has been unleashed in our world and it is set on destroying our children.

We can’t play a blind eye, we can’t ignore it. We must be aware.

Current Events

This present-day secular culture epitomizes the characteristics of the Spirit of Athaliah. It Is not a friend of our children!  The enemy is using every available tool to indoctrinate the next generation.

Secular culture is challenging our Christian youths' identities. When they meet non-religious friends in non-religious contexts, such as school. Secularization has also directly challenged Christianity as modern beliefs opposing the traditional teachings and practices of the Church.

Secular culture is defined as a society where the powers of the church and the state are separate, meaning that the state's governing cannot be the result of the policies and beliefs of any organized religion. In a secular society, individuals decide truth and morality, not God or the Bible. They also believe that life has no inherent value or purpose, so individuals should pursue personal happiness or satisfaction.

Today’s Secular Culture forces our children to believe in:

evolution, relativism (Morality exist in relation to culture), post-modernism, feminism, tolerance, sexual promiscuity, indoctrinating our children into accepting homosexuality as a normal alternate lifestyle.

There are some commonly used terms that us parents need to know and understand like:

Genderfluid: Used to describe a person who does not consistently adhere to one fixed gender and who may move among genders, identifying as male, female or nonbinary at different times or in different circumstances.

Nonbinary: The term refers to people who do not subscribe to the gender binary. They might exist between or beyond the man-woman binary, feeling that they are a bit of both genders or not identifying with either gender.

Genderqueer (GQ): This term refers to individuals who blur preconceived boundaries of gender in relation to the gender binary, which is the disproven concept that there are only two genders (male and female), and that everyone must be one or the other. GQ is often used as an umbrella term for those whose gender doesn’t fit with socially constructed norms for their sex assigned to them at birth. Pansexual: Often shortened to pan, the term refers to a person whose emotional, romantic or physical attraction is to people inclusive of all genders. Pronouns: The words used to refer to a person other than their name include common pronouns, such as they/them, he/him and she/her.

Transgender: Often shortened to trans, the term describes a person’s gender identity that does not necessarily match their assigned sex at birth. Transgender people may or may not decide to alter their bodies hormonally or surgically to match their gender identity.

Secular Schools have lowered academic standards; teaching that God is irrelevant and that the philosophy of secular humanism holds the best hope for mankind.

Jezebel’s Daughter Kills - for political and economical advantage

This redefinition of terms and names is nothing new

Nebuchadnezzar king of the then known world empire from 605 BC to around 563 BC, after conquering Judah, and destroyed Jerusalem in 586 BC. He took some of the inhabitants of Judah back to Babylon as captives, including a number of the children of royal and noble families. His purpose and his attempt was to indoctrinate them into Babylonian society and culture (Daniel 1:3–4).

Among those taken were four boys, around the age of 14 a few teenagers, named Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. All four of their Hebrew names had meanings that connected their identity to their faith in the one true God.

But upon arrival in Babylon, their names were changed:

To Daniel, the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego” (Daniel 1:7). The purpose of changing the names of These four children was to encourage them to forget their God, their teaching and traditions of their homeland and become conformed to the ways and gods of Babylon.

Theologians call this "intentional and forced assimilation;" Nebuchadnezzar had an agenda. His agenda was that Daniel and his friends would  “conform to the pattern of the world” (Romans 12:2).

We must become aware that there is a secular agenda to redefine and secularize our children. A forced assimilation of attitudes, and learning that has no religious or spiritual basis.

The school system is an enemy of the family unit and the culture has an anti christ agenda, it wants to kill our children.

And THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE  we face as Parents, Church and as a nation is the struggle for the hearts and minds and SOULS of our children.

The killing of Children born with a purpose is nothing new

Propostion Statement

Let me share with you three things that were done to intercept the plans of Jezebel’s daughter. If we adopt theses principles in our Families you will become a change agent and defeat the spirit of Athaliah.

Point #1 - God wants us to Hide our Kids in His House. Holiness , Separation from the World

2 Kings 11:2 “But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons which were slain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.”

There is nothing wrong with hiding our kids. By this I mean Separating them from the world. The Bible does not teach that we should isolate from the world but to come from among them and be separate.

Athaliah’s Wrath

The daughter was worse than the mother, she killed her own family. To secure her position of power and control in the throne, she was extremely calculated.

This generation’s music very calculated, very targeted and dangerous, using computer generated, consumer data to  entice our kids. They need to be covered. Prayer fasting

Hide them, (Jesus, Moses) why because Jezebel has a daughter.

Why?

There is Safety in the house. (The death angel)

I grew up sheltered in the church in Highgate St Mary. (Hidden from the Football field) Some of us need to strip our kids of their phones. Watch their attitude when you hide that phone.

Stay in the Ship (Euroclydon tempestuous)

One thing have I desired.

Hidden  in the house (Preach about safety in the house, Stay in the Ship.

They need to be in church, Church is not an option. Be present in the house, in Sunday School. Youth Camp, youth Service.

Watch for who you marry, ungodly alliances. Unhealthy partnerships. Fossilzing friendships. Friendship with the world is enmity with God.

Point #2 - God wants us to Teach our Children - Teach them, train them.

Deuteronomy 6:4–7 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”

We cannot sit by comfortably and allow the world to define who our children are or what they will become. We must engage in this Fight for the salvation of our children.

Sunday School- Why?

Because, Some of our kids go to school with students who have Athaliahs for parents.

Live in neighborhoods that are controlled by the spirit of Athaliah.

Exposed them to alcohol. Smoking. Some from the womb. Boss.

We get a chance to expose them to the word of God, the presence of God. Invest in them.

But all you have to do is save ONE

Fight for them

2 Kings 11:11 “And the guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, round about the king, from the right corner of the temple to the left corner of the temple, along by the altar and the temple.”

Point #3 - God wants us to Empower our Children - (Release them to destroy the spirit of Athaliah, Pick Up mantles that have fallen ( identify and apply what spirit and anointing Joash lead with, Esther- save your generation, Mordacai her covering

2 Kings 11:12 “And he brought forth the king’s son, and put the crown upon him, and gave him the testimony; and they made him king, and anointed him; and they clapped their hands, and said, God save the king.”

DEVIL YOU MISSED ONE!! Devil Not this one! (Divine interception)

But there is one you forgot! A seed royal- royal priesthood, a holy nation, One young person.

Athalaiah- These children deserve more than  late classes, unprepared teachers. You cant say you love children as a trained teacher and teach kids in the public system monday-friday for money but check out on Sunday School. Something is wrong with that picture. They deserve more because Jezebel has a daughter. These three boys, there is something special. They have more than those trained babylonians. Woman and Dragon in revelation Dragon wants to steal your baby.

Parents

Kids are not the problem. Improper parenting is the problem. We have created the problem.

Tv internet. Has become teachers and foster parents.  Feeding them, molding their minds.

You have to be covered. While you are covering them. Cover our kids they have no covering at home.

And that their children, which have not (known anything), may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

Sunday School is the reaching and the teaching arm of the church.

Secular School has them for 35 hours. We have them for about 3 hours.

But what we do for our children in a Sunday School class is worth more than they get all week at a secular school.

We can make tremendous generational impact with just three hours a week of Sunday School.

10X Better because it connects them with God

The king compared his secular education to Jewish education and when he saw the product. At 14, 4 Jewish children were 10x better than his trained magicians.

Our Responsibility to Teach Children

In Deut 6:4-9 and in many other Scriptures, God gave the responsibility to parents that children should be brought up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

God was very specific and intentional his command was to teach the Children!

When Israel crossed over Jordan and into the promised Land, God remembered the unborn and the infants. He said go back in that riverbed and bring our 12 boulders. Place them upon the banks of your testimony and in case you forget to tell them your testimony and when your children ask you what meaneth these stones you will tell them that God is a promise Keeper!!! God is a Miracle worker. Our God is not Dead he is alive!

Jewish Parents Taught these 4 Children

These 4 (14 year olds) were taught by Jewish Parents at an early age to fear the Lord. They were in Babylon but at 14 years old they did not conform to a pagan culture of Babylon.

They refused to conform to the indoctrination, diet, and religion of Babylon. Daniel and his companions asked to be fed vegetables rather than the king’s unlawful food, and they were granted their wish on the condition that their health did not suffer.

That seed of FEARING GOD was not coincidence. No! What was planted in Jerusalem did not die in Babylon. God watered it and gave them favor.

God Gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: an Daniel had understanding in all vision and dreams.

They That know their God shall be strogn and shall do great exploits.

Calling all kids 7 Year Old and up to the altar. All it takes to kill Athalaih is a 7 year old Baptized and Filled with the Holy Ghost.

There is no where in the world that the church is more leathal than the grave yard.

Jehoiada Assassinates the Queen

While Queen Athaliah was wiping out her royal line her daughter Jehosheba hid one of Ahaziah’s children named Joash and hid him in the Temple under the watch of her husband Jehoiada who made sure that he would remain safe until the right time.

While Athaliah ruled the kingdom he plotted her assassination in order to place the young king Joash back on the throne. In the sixth year of Athaliah’s rule, Jehoiada carried out his plot. He took the young king to the temple and declared him king before the people. Athaliah heard the commotion and tried to figure out what was going on. When she went down to observe what was happening, Jehoiada ordered his soldiers to assassinate her and anyone who followed her. Once Athaliah was slain young Joash was finally free to rule the kingdom.

Youths come the altar and demonstrate. PUSH. Force and energy. Son of man prophecy. Greater works. Use keys.
