[Intro: 0:00-0:30]
Hello everyone, and welcome to today’s video. If you’re watching this, you might be someone who’s longing for marriage but hasn’t yet found the right person to share your life with. Today, I want to encourage you with words of hope and truth from the Bible, and share how you can remain motivated and positive during this season of waiting.
[Section 1: Embracing the Season of Waiting - 0:31-5:00]
Firstly, it’s important to recognize that waiting is not just a time to passively hope for something to happen. The Bible speaks about waiting as a time of active engagement and growth. Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” This verse encourages us to find our primary joy and satisfaction in God. As you focus on building your relationship with God, He shapes your desires to align with His will.
In this season, embrace personal growth. Work on becoming the best version of yourself—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Use this time to deepen your understanding of God’s Word, to serve in your community, and to build meaningful relationships.
[Section 2: Trusting God’s Timing - 5:01-10:00]
One of the hardest parts of waiting is trusting God’s timing. Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us that God’s ways and thoughts are higher than ours. Sometimes, it may feel like our prayers are unanswered, but God is always at work for our good. His timing is perfect, even when it vastly differs from our own schedules.
Share a personal story or testimony here about waiting for something significant and seeing God’s timing play out perfectly. Encourage your viewers by reminding them that God has not forgotten them and is working behind the scenes.
[Section 3: The Purpose of Partnership - 10:01-15:00]
While you are waiting, consider why you desire to be married. Genesis 2:18 tells us that God created marriage because He saw that it was not good for man to be alone. Marriage is about partnership, companionship, and mutual growth. Ask yourself how you can prepare to be a good partner. Focus on qualities such as kindness, patience, and faithfulness—fruits of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23.
Engage with married couples in your community or church. Learn from their experiences and gain wisdom from how they navigate their relationships. This preparation will be invaluable when you do enter into a marriage.
[Section 4: Living Fully Now - 15:01-19:30]
Finally, remember that your life doesn’t start when you get married. John 10:10 says that Jesus came so that we might have life and have it abundantly. Live your life to the fullest now. Engage in your passions, travel, meet new people, and make a difference in your community. Marriage is a beautiful part of life, but it is not the entirety of life.
Encourage your viewers to take action today. Whether it’s joining a new club, starting a Bible study, or volunteering, there are countless ways to enrich your life in this present moment.
[Conclusion: 19:31-20:00]
In closing, remember that while the desire for marriage is valid and natural, this waiting period is a unique and valuable season of your life too. Trust in God’s plan, grow in His grace, and prepare for the future He has for you. Thank you for watching, and may God bless you abundantly in your journey.
