Okay, this is the last part of Noah! Where did we leave off?
So now, we see Noah, his family, and the animals are floating on water. And the whole earth is covered in water. But God remembered them, so he sent a wind to blow across the earth and the waters began to recede. It finally stopped raining after 150 days. Who can tell me how many months that is? - five months.
So then, the boat landed on top of a mountain. So now they’re stuck there, but two and a half months later as the waters receded more then they could see other mountain tops.
So, then after another forty days, it was time to find land. He released a raven. The bird flew back and forth until the floodwaters on the earth dried up. Then he released a dove to go find dry ground. Do yall think it found it?
No. So he waited another 7 days. Do you think it came back with proof this time?
Yup! It came back with an olive leaf in its beak! Thats how they knew the waters were almost gone. So then he waited another 7 days to release another dove, but this time what do yall think happened?
The dove didnt come back. lol
So now, Noah was 601 years old. So on the first day of the new year....new years day.....ten and a half months after the flood began. So Noah let the door down, saw that the earth was ground again! And two more months went by and the earth was finally dry!!
So they all left the boat.
Now what do you think Noah did first after getting off the boat?
He built an alter and gave a sacrifice for the animals given for that reason. Then, God did a thing.
Y’all have to guess what that was.
He made a promise to never again flood the earth and to destroy all things. So he told them to be fruitful and multiply..
And to show Noah that he will never flood to destroy the earth again....what sign was given??
What do you see in the sky when it rains but then the sun shines?
Experiment time!
