CHRIST - DAVID’S TRUE SON

Isaiah 9:7 NKJV

Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

1 Jesus is promised to come from the Branch from the Root of Jesse who is King David’ Father

Like a branch coming out of a Stump

Isaiah 11:1 NKJV

There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.

2 We are certain that the promised King will come David’s Family

Isaiah 11:1b And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.”

Declaration that This family wood be anointed

From his roots (Jesse) A Branch will bear frui

Isaiah 4:2 “In that day the Branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious; And the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and appealing For those of Israel who have escaped.”

Isaiah 53:2 “For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him.”

Jeremiah 23:5 ““Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.”

Jeremiah 33:15 “‘In those days and at that time I will cause to grow up to David A Branch of righteousness; He shall execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.”

Zechariah 3:8 “‘Hear, O Joshua, the high priest, You and your companions who sit before you, For they are a wondrous sign; For behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH.”

Zechariah 6:12 “Then speak to him, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, saying: “Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH! From His place He shall branch out, And He shall build the temple of the Lord;”

Romans 15:12 “And again, Isaiah says: “There shall be a root of Jesse; And He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, In Him the Gentiles shall hope.””

Revelation 5:5 “But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.””

Revelation 22:16 ““I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.””

Isaiah 11:2 NKJV

The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit would mightily anoint the Messiah

Isaiah 61:1 ““The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;”

Matthew 3:16–17 “When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.””

John 1:33–34 “I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.””

The Spirit’s anointing upon the Messiah would would impart power gifts that will assist Him with power, wisdom,and knowledge

The Spirits’s

The Spirits anointing upon the Messiah would also affect his Spiritual character and stature

Isaiah 11:2 e“The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.”

Isaiah 11:3a “His delight is in the fear of the Lord,

Isaiah 33:6 “Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, And the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure.”

Isaiah 11:3 NKJV

His delight is in the fear of the Lord, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;

CHRIST WAS TO RULE TO BRING PERFECTION

Christ, the Messiah would rule impartially, and He would not be a respecter of persons

Isaiah 11:3 , And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;”

John 7:24 “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.””

John 2:25 “and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man.”

But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.

When Christ the Messiah comes to rule, the poor an those in need will not be neglected but will be treated with fairness and justice

Isaiah 11:4 a“But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth;

Psalm 72:2 “He will bring justice to the poor of the people; He will save the children of the needy, And will break in pieces the oppressor.”

Christ the perfect King will return in judgement, destroy the wicked, and establish His perfect and righteous rule

Isaiah 11:4 “But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.”

2 Thessalonians 1:6–10 “since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.”

2 Thessalonians 2:8 “And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.”

Isaiah 11:5 NKJV

Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist.

Christ’s rule will be different from whatever has gone on before Him.

Righteousness, honesty , and Fairness will be the Royal Robes He will wear when He comes to rule

Ephesians 6:14 “Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,”

BEHOLD THE KING IS COMING

Behold the King is coming !

All over the world mankind We have been under different rulers, politicians, and various forms of Government

But none of them can come near the rule of the Messiah which will be based on the perfect righteousness, fairness, justice, faithfulness, and impartiality!

How can we a part of this noble kingdom which will ultimately be established.
